“That’s a Zeus belt it’s got a Z on it” [emoji23][emoji23]
I’ll take the opportunity any chance I get. People may knock Hogan for a 1000 things, but as the face of the company, the ultimate baby face. He did everything in his power to sell for his opponents in the ring. He made every single jobber one off opponent look like a credible threat to the title. I think that is a completely underrated reason for why he was able to be as big as he was. He legit made you feel like he was the underdog in every fight even though...”Hogan Must Pose” lol

I'm sorry but the Mankind/Taker KOTR 98 is is over rated, the Buried Alive match is much better.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Maybe overrated in the sense of a good wrestling match. I wouldn’t say overrated in the sense of its importance to their rivalry and career story.
Buried Alive was good stuff, even if Terry Gordy got to be involved.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Taker vs Mankind was one of those matches where it wasn't about any moves, it was simply about the story/bumps. Even Taker vs HBK HIAC, it was a great match, but everyone remembers "THATS GOTTA BE KANE!" more than anything else.
I wonder how differently the match would've been viewed if it ended after the table bump.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
As a moment its probably one of the most important ones in the AE, but the match is not good. The match was cut short because of Foley's bumps, it was 5-8 minutes of the EMTs attending to him.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Watched the Paul Bearer and Brothers of Destruction specials. They're good but could be longer.
Listening to old dudes tell stories from back then is always good, and 45 minutes isn't enough.
The Paul Bearer thing is 55 minutes, but could also have used another 5 or 10. A lot of stuff is just kind of mentioned in passing, so it feels a little rushed at the end.
Both are worth watching though.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I need a part two, three and four of Brothers of Destruction. 45 minutes just doesn't feel like enough, the more Undertaker/Kane documentaries the better.
It's quite interesting hearing Undertaker talk about the streak ending. I was there at Wrestlemania 30 and I still haven't forgotten the feeling that night when the air was sucked out of the stadium. I was always assumed with Taker that he wanted Brock to end it otherwise he wouldn't have agreed to losing. So to hear him say he thought Brock didn't need it and he was going over up until Vince changed his mind is crazy.
Imagine if he kept the streak and Roman was really the one who ended the streak.....Last edited by UFCMPunk; 11-16-2020, 07:19 PM.Comment

Watching clips from Survivor Series 93,
Lex Luger hits Ludvig Borga with an elbow, Heenan: "is that the elbow with Ace Is The Place?"
All the Hart Brothers in the ring, Heenan: "nobody looks alike in the family!"
Man, I miss that silly ****.Comment
