That’s cool, I don’t really use other streaming services but if I’m essentially getting ad free Peacock for nothing I’ll. check it out. It launches March 18, hopefully the interface doesn’t change much

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Peacock has shows like 30 Rock, The Office, Cheers, Downton Abbey, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frasier, House, King of Queens, Law and Order, SNL among others are on it.
Getting those AND WWE Network for $9.99 seems like a nice deal.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
People who say they are cancelling are just those fickle wrestling fans that wanna scream outrage over anything. At worst, you're paying the EXACT same price to get the same service on a different platform. At best, you get it for $5 cheaper per month if you don't mind ads.Comment

Sounds like current subscribers will be rolled over to Peacock+ subscriptions. That works for me.Currently Playing:

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
It also puts the final nail in the coffin of any hope that they will ever treat PPVs as the huge events of the past. We should probably stop calling WWE shows "PPVs" for real now lol.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I'm sure they see this as corporate/employee profits, and not at all relevant to the independent contractors that they hire and fire.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Does Peacock have any original programming? I can’t see myself caring about any of their other old stuff except SNL

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
They have a few things, but between how new the service is (under a year old) and whatever covid delays on production, I think a lot is still in the planning stages. They've really just been pushing their library right now.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
This seems like a strange deal for NBC if the 5 year/$1billion figure is accurate. Even If it doesn’t cost them a penny to add all the WWE subscribers, they’d need approximately 1.6 million subscribers on the 9.99 plan to break even. Is there a hidden value in adding the WWE network to their platform that I’m not seeing?Comment
