Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Picking back up where I was with WWF 2000 episodes.
"Who ran over Austin" storyline picks back up after I'm sure most forgot about it the last 10 months.
I still can't believe how it ends. Rikishi? Really? From interviews I've seen in the past, Rikishi was the plan all along? Not like the higher power angle where I think they did have other plans?
There were no signs for the entire year of Rikishi being a heel, and no real big pushes for him that would make him feel like a main eventer in the waiting.
One idea I saw thrown around which would've been cool is if Stephanie McMahon Helmsley did it.
Who would've suspected "Daddys little girl"? Especially with this being just a few weeks before the actual HHH/Steph "wedding" which would later be revealed to be a plan by HHH/Steph against Vince. So she wouldn't have even been a suspect, having no aliegence to HHH when the incident happened.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Funny, I assumed it was just because a Peacock thread was made. I actually looked for one before posting in here.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
To be fair, its also because there hasn't been much new original content this month either. I'm guessing they're saving stuff for when they need them, rather than right now where everyone who wants to get it already has it, likely the 4 month package to get WM so everything after that is like a free 3 months.Comment

I did see a tweet from them about a Two Dudes With Attitude episode of Untold on May 2. That’ll probably have a few good stories in it and be worth the watch.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
No no no........ it's clearly because not enough old content is up and the app sucks in general for WWE. Just embrace my narrative.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
There were times I didn’t really watch the network for a month or longer but always kept my subscription because it was nice having access to the old content. If they had the old content I’d keep a subscription even if they completely stopped with the documentaries and new stuffComment

I couldn’t find anything definitive when I Google’d it, but can you “download” and watch WWE content/old shows offline through Peacock?Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think you can if you’re on the $10 tier of Peacock. Can’t say for sure since I’m on the $5 though.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
On the non Peacock version of the network, they aired an episode from SD from 2005 recently. I know all are on demand, but if a random one airs on TV, I might check it out.
This was from after WM21.
A weird sight. SD at MSG without the traditional MSG entrance, and instead they had the Raw set up for SD
They had a #1 contenders tournament where the winner faces Cena.
JBL vs Angle and Big Show vs Booker was the semi finals. JBL and Angle did commentary for the Big Show vs Booker match, and a cool moment happened during it. They ended up talking and came to the realization minutes later that a double DQ would lead to no winner in Big Show vs Booker, meaning JBL vs Angle would be the finals, so both guys ended up interfering.
Sure, the plan failed when Teddy Long announced a fatal 4 way finals for the following week, and then a TAG TEAM MATCH for later that night, but I always like when they use layers and logic in moments like that. The entire conversation on commentary you could hear them mapping out a plan and coming to that conclusion.
Although sadly this would lead to the Angle vs Booker feud, with a moment I'm hoping got edited from the peacock network (Angles comments about Sharmell).Last edited by Majingir; 04-25-2021, 05:43 PM.Comment
