Can WWE writers watch this show too? In ring/character psychology is a lost art today.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
RVDs episode of WWE Icons like the other episodes were great.
2021 has been such a fun time to watch the A&E and WWE Icons episodes. I think I enjoy these content more than the actual Raw/SD shows.
RVD gave Vince rolling papers at the HOF lolComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I noticed they’ve added some episodes of wrestling challenge from 86 and 87, hopefully they’re not far away from adding the stuff from the territories so I can sign back upComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The Nexus one should be good. Same with BSS with Foley.
I guess the Ruthless Aggression stuff will be happening in July? Maybe airing after MITB?
The 4 month promo when they first went on Peacock is up in August, so they probably have an episode or two new to try and hook people.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
BSS with Godfather.
Austin and Godfather high fiving over their legitimate love of roller derby. There's something I never expected.
An interesting moment during it. Godfather was talking about his past, an old biker gang he hung out with in one of the pics Austin showed. He mentioned the other guys ended up being Hells Angels and/or are dead. Immediately after that they just randomly faded the interview to black and picked up in a different conversation.
I didnt know he was going to be Papa Shango again during the AE, and they even took studio pics of his new look, and then dropped it.
Funny picturing the BSK Facebook group chat.Last edited by Majingir; 06-01-2021, 07:36 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Finally on the episode of Raw where they find out who ran over Austin.
Talk about a crazy night. They brought everyone in. HBK returns and accuses The Rock. Debra returns and they reveal she and Austin got married. Linda McMahon is back too.
All that, for Rikishi to be revealed as the culprit (the thing that tipped Foley off was Scotty mentioning Rikishi backstage, even though he hadn't debuted yet). The second Rikishi said he did it, you could hear the crowd both shocked and let down at the same time. That was such a loud groan from the crowd.
But it is funny hearing his explanation for why he did it, and realizing how much it ties in with the current Tribal Chief story of doing it for the bloodline because they don't get the respect they deserve, and their family should be on top.Comment

Watching Mania 8 again I forgot how early the Savage v. Flair world title match was
And Bobby Heenan’s commentary was very cringeComment

Meh.
We’ve advanced on what’s acceptable on tv in the last 30 years. You can’t watch it and hold it against today’s standards when it aired literally in a different time.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Even something like Friends, with the reunion airing last week, people started talking about the show again. And of course people start ripping the show or characters for their reaction to certain things (like their treatment of Carol/Susan, or Ross wanting his son playing with GI Joe instead of dolls and so on).
Wrestling has so many instances of that too. Obviously we're seeing it happen with the Right to Censor styled Network scrubbing being done.Comment
