Yeah, why did they make the release of this so damn complicated? They put out a trailer for it over 2 years ago.

What an errie sequence of shows they did in October 2001.

I mentioned how they had Raw in Montreal for the first time since the Screwjob. The following week turns out Raw was in KC, their first live show (since SD is taped) in that very arena since Over the Edge...

Funny thing is, I somewhat remember Sting more with black and red facepaint even though I wasn't a WCW fan because I had the WCW Nitro video game. But the goatee thankfully wasn't part of his look in that.

Question…….i know nothing about wrestling since pre 1998.

In Canada wwe network is $14.99 per month.

Wwe network shows ALL pay per views for a you subscribe, wrestlemania, summer slam, even like crown jewel and all of the lesser PPV’s correct ? And it shows them live ??

Lastly, how much does for example wrestlemania or royal rumble or even lesser event like crown jewel cost to buy as a one off one shot purchase ? $9.99, $19.99, $49.99 ??

Thanks guys (my kids thank you).

It's $15 per month, you get anything on the network for the entire month. Not just the event, but anything else on the network.

If you're subscribing through a TV provider, that's the best way to do it. IMO, the Canadian version of the network seems to be the best version out there.

It's a TV channel AND streaming service rolled into one.

Ok. How much is it to just order royal rumble (for example).

I'd imagine it's just the PPV price (I'm guessing PPVs are still a thing) which definitely wouldn't be anywhere close to $15 a month.

Ok. That’s what I’m getting at. If I was to just one off order 2 to 3 ppv events, would that basically just be the yearly cost to get the wwe network for a year.

                      Basically.

I'm also not sure how WM PPV pricing is like since it's 2 nights, if they charge per night on PPV or what it is, I've never had to even think about PPV ordering.

I know PPVs were something like $50 or $60 before the network. Don't think prices would be any less now, they want people ordering the network more than PPVs (since they don't get the full cut of the PPV money, and it looks better with more network subscribers)

It's definitely better to order the network over the PPV. It's month by month too, so if there is a month you don't care about, you could just cancel for that time and sign back up once you want to.

You could basically subscribe from January until April and get Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WM nights 1 and 2 for just $60!

Can't think of any reason to even get the stand alone PPV over the network. Like I said for the Canadian one, it's basically just a TV channel you're paying for, so not like you need to stream off a phone (unless you want to watch on demand stuff like past ppvs or past shows and other stuff which is obviously what I've been doing week by week)

                        Talk about random matches..

Just saw Survivor Series 95 airing. HHH and Isaac Yankem among the names on one side

Undertaker on the other side with one of the Godwins...

They actually called him Triple H back in 1995?

I remember HHH famously in that pig pen match with one of the Godwins.

He also had a feud with Duke the Dumpster.

He went from the RR pre-show to getting squashed by Warrior at WM... to somehow living to tell about it.wwf_wwe_royalrumble_96_hhhvsdukedroese_freeforall.jpg

Never saw a WCW Wargames before (or really many WCW broadcasts in general).

Decided to watch Wargames 1996. Didn't realize how soon after the NWO formed that this happened.

Not much special in terms of the actual action. Only story in it was if Sting was in the NWO and we found out it's fake Sting, but real Sting just showed up, proved he's the real Sting, left, then the NWO just anticlimacticly wins, then we get 10 mins of the NWO just celebrating before the PPV ends with a credit screen? Was that normal for a WCW broadcast (the credit screen I mean)?

Either way, can't believe this was 1996 and seeing just how different/behind the times WWF was at this same point. Everything about the presentation and talent felt way bigger and better from WCW.

Yeah, WCW always ran credits on PPVs back then. Not sure when they stopped though.
