I'm at 1998 Wargames and they didn't have the credits there, so it would've been sometime between 96-98.

Modern WWE Wargames is definitely better than what I've seen from WCW Wargames though.

WCWs was all over the place. Nothing too notable during matches, and they just abruptly ended.

Even the 1998 one, Hogan just enters without the time counting down, then Warrior enters with smoke in the ring, NWO Hollywood beats him down, more smoke, Warrior is gone, then the real Warrior appears from the entrance and goes in the rings, Hogan leaves, Warrior chases after him, DDP hits a diamond cutter on Stevie Ray and the match ends.

Man, I had stopped watching for a while during that time. One of my little brothers was into it. I think it was around 2007ish and I got us ringside tickets to a house show and saw Queen Booker for the first time...... bruh..... I was like 'can't get right' looking at the chic from Life.

Also.... Sandman gave my 13 year old brother his budweiser [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

MVP told me to shut my *** up and I did so promptly.

MVP had such a cool entrance. As did Batista. Those are two of my main memories of watching Smackdown in that era.

I don't know if the ease of access to social media has ruined people, or it just a part of getting older, but it seemed like back then even the entrances were highly enjoyable. And that was when Smackdown was taped every week.

As far as entrances go, I think that era is the best and I was there during the Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars period.

Even some of the Divas had some fire entrances lol

              MVPs was great.

I think it was around the time of the switch to HD that they stopped going all out for those kinds of entrances.

An underrated part of entrances to me is also the lighting. Nowadays most people just enter to regular arena lights with some coloured spotlights. Back then the entire arena might be lit up based on your entrance lighting.

Batista’s is still the best from that era to me.

Hell, my big *** still does his entrance when I’m watching lol

                    WWE Network Discussion Thread

Always wondered why hasn’t Miami ever hosted a Wrestlemania?

They’ve done Orlando and Tampa but how in the world have they’ve not been there yet?

(This thought came to me while watching WMXXIV)

Edit: I’m wrong, they’ve done one there with Rock-Cena, I’m an idiot.

Wasn't one of the ones with Rock vs Cena in Miami? Or was that another Orlando?

Didn’t they just put that roof on like a few years ago?

I’d say that’s major. Don’t know what else they’ve done but I imagine they done a few more things.

Forgot WM28 was actually in Miami, it was WM33 that was in the same venue as 24.

Too many same state WMs, gets confusing at times.

If you're not getting the Network at the prices it's been at in various promos since the Peacock deal began, I don't think you'll ever get it.

Those deals are all so good to be true.
