With Paige, I get that they are doing the same as they did with AJ, but to have her come out and say "I'm not stupid enough to agree to a title match" and then agree straight away.

They have 3-4 weeks before Battleground. Like a few people have said, why not have AJ try everything to get her to agree to a match there?

Similar to D-Bryan/HHH in how he goaded him. Then it creates some intrigue, unless they are going to do the reverse with Paige which I would be fine with.

The key issue with her is that yes, book her as an underdog after the AJ win, but then they should have had her obliterate Cameron, Eva, Aksana and even Tamina. Make her unstoppable like Rusev and then when AJ comes back you get that amazing Rusev/Reigns battle royal moment.

It seemed like they didn't know whether to keep her strong or look vulnerable. Whether the booking is good or bad, at least commit to it!

I guess the honeymoon period is over because in the weeks following WM, most folks here were satisfied with the "direction" booking/creative was headed. I personally was still skeptical/had my doubts they would sustain it but I figured it would continue to make progress with some small bumps in the road along the way.

I'm still pretty satisfied.

Shield breaking up is going well, like others have said.
Usos/Rybaxel/Luke & Harper/Dust Brothers are all entertaining.
I have hope for Naomi/AJ/Paige.
Bray is still awesome.
Sandow is getting time again and is still entertaining.
Ziggler has been putting on good performances even when squashed.
#BOlieve.
Rusev is intriguing.
BNB before he got hurt.
Ceasero.
And even if all that stuff sucked, I'd still be watching because of Lana.


I bash WWE all the time, but imo, they have more right/good going on than bad. I was thoroughly entertained by almost all of RAW (didn't pay much attention to the main event). I feel like the product is also light years ahead of where it was this time last year.

I feel like this would be a better team than Harper & Rowan. Just have Luke out there by himself, when he gets winded or is selling a big spot, he can just tag himself in and poof, back to full health. Tell me that wouldn't get him even more over. I should write for WWE...

I've been fully intrigued since they put on an awesome show at WM30, enough to buy tickets to my first event in 8 years. Pretty much all Shiz said and well I'm cool with Cena as champ lol

I just hope with Wyatt/Jericho that they let just these 2 wrestle for awhile, try to keep Rowan/Harper run in to a minimum

Zack Ryder proved that if Vince doesn't want to push you, you're screwed. It doesn't matter that he got over on the internet. If they want to make you look like a loser, you're a loser.

No one really cares that Paige dropped the belt. Its the fact that the segment sucked and shes been booked like crap since day one.

Everyone keeps ignoring the points that are being made and just repeating the same thing: "who cares about the divas?" If you don't care, don't read the posts.

For me, its less about the divas and more about terrible booking. I think some people are so used to seeing crap on TV they forgot what good booking looks like.

Wait now. You guys are all up in arms over Paige supposedly being booked poorly. Like it was some kind of injustice. Almost as if she as an individual deserved better, when she was a place holder from the jump. Fact is she failed to get over on her own in the time. Don't want to hear excuses because that is fact.

Where did I say I don't care about the Divas btw?

As for why I mentioned Zack Ryder. Because again, some of act like WWE did Paige a disservice in some way. If WWE has done anyone a disservice it is someone like Zack Ryder who sells merchandise, is over despite obstacles put in his way (imagine that) and sees no tv time and has no merchandise for sale on WWE.com.

Nothing to do with not caring about the Divas division, it's about finding all the bitching and excuse making for Paige comical. Well, comical to me anyway.

How much mic time has Paige been given since she debuted on the roster? How do you develop any character or relationship to an audience with almost zero mic time?

She had two chances and did nothing to make you think she's anything more than what she had been: commentary and on the mic with AJ.

Both of those segments weren't really geared towards her though. Cameron was 90% of the commentary, actually... and actually, it was actually used to further the split between her and Naomi that actually started a week before. Now that's just being actual.

The mic with AJ... was geared for AJ's return, unless you're referring the night after Wrestlemania, where she for some awkward reason out of left field, she came to congratulate AJ... not really much to go with to develop anything.

But alas that's my opinion.

She's not great at talking, so I doubt that would help much. Her strength is wrestling, which is why it was confusing that they presented her as a fluke for so long.

She's not the be-all, end-all of women's wrestling; and I don't know what her ceiling is, but it's higher than whatever she's done in the last three months.

I feel like you read someone elses post and responded to that and then quoted mine.

I do think everyone should move on though. Some people think a wrestler should be able to get over on their own no matter how bad the booking is, and how little mic time they get. Some people think wrestlers should be set up to succeed, not fail. Just two different opinions, thats all.
