This might be my favorite WWE memory of all time. Just everything about this was absolute perfection.

What a crazy moment. Shield reunites and keeps Reigns as champ. I remember when their music hit, small part of me thought "what if they helped Strownan?".

They had so much potential with this storyline but they screwed it up like every other great idea they have. I was excited to see where this all went but they screwed it up the very next week and I stopped watching RAW for a whole month. Then I heard about Ambrose turning and started watching again.

I know it's late but we all love Triple H in this forum lol. August 23rd, 1999 on Monday Night RAW Triple H won his first WWE Championship. He won his fourteenth World Championship in 2016 in The Royal Rumble Match. Funny thing is that this was supposed to have happened at Summerslam the night before but Austin refused to drop the title to Triple H.

So Mankind won at Summerslam in order to drop the title to Triple H the next night on RAW and continue with their plans with him as champion.

The Greatest Summerslam in history? August 25th, 2002. Brock Lesnar was on the fast track up the card and faced WWE Champion The Rock. Shawn Michaels returned from retirement in a non sanctioned match against former best friend Triple H. Kurt Angle took on Rey Mysterio, Edge faced Eddie Guerrero and more!

I've always said as much as people loved the AE, that 02-04 WWE was their real best era. 02 specifically might have been their best year.

They had the most stacked roster and stacked PPV cards, without a doubt. And not the fake kind of stacked that people talk about with today's roster, where nobody is really over as a star.

From the Extreme to the Highway To Hell. Summerslam 1998, Undertaker vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship. Are Undertaker & Kane in cahoots with one another? The Rock vs Triple H in a Ladder Match for the IC Title.

Also next to WM X7's "My Way Or The Highway" Video Package, the "Highway To Hell" Video Package to promote Undertaker vs Austin is the second best promo video in the history of WWE.

Imagine turning on Raw this Monday and seeing something 5% as cool as that video. Ain't happening.

Unfortunate part of the wwe network, awesome video packages can't have the soundtrack they had back then.

That video isn’t that cool if we’re being honest with ourselves. Just looks like some fan video cut together for YouTube.

Regular videos sure, although when you factor in that even windows movie maker wasnt a thing yet in those days, its impressive.

The best ones are where they have a mix of tv audio and the music itself. So it's not just the music playing over some videos, it's like a soundtrack for the segments which are part of the video package.

Well it was 20+ years ago.

If today WWE did a promo package with just a badass song playing the background, cut with cool moments involving two rivals, I guarantee people would rave about it. It's supposed to be fun.
