McIntyre already beat Goldberg and now WM will have fans at it, so I'd say we're already on our path to that.

Hugh Morris? Is that a joke? Is that supposed to be funny?

One year ago today, AEW has the honor of saying they were the last Wrestling PPV with a Crowd before the Pandemic hit. It was AEW Revolution which saw Omega/Hangman take on The Bucks in a classic, Cody vs MJF and the night Chris Jericho's AEW Title reign came to an end at the hands of Jon Moxley.

March 3rd, 2014. Chicago, IL. The WWE is on the road to Wrestlemania 30 and we are a month into CM Punk walking out. Every dirt sheet was convinced Punk would come back on this RAW because it was in Chicago. What we got instead was a troll job by.... Paul Heyman who had to convince Vince to do this as Paul explained on Inside The Ropes. There was a movement to hijack the show with Punk chants. Paul with his brilliance turned that into blaming the fans and build up to Undertaker vs Lesnar.

Man, they loaded the first half of that show too. The Heyman thing, Usos' first tag title win, Shield vs Wyatt Family rematch. Main event was Bryan vs Batista, obviously in the middle of the whole YES Movement.

Fun show to have been at.

I decided to watch this show in full, man what a show is right. Watching that Heyman promo in full from start to finish was a work of art. I forgot the Outlaws were Tag Team Champs again but damn that crowd was behind the Usos and into the match from start to finish. Cesaro vs Big E wasn't much but helped with the split of the Real Americans, and they go right into Shield/Wyatt Family immediately after.

Kind of crazy they were teasing a Shield breakup prior to Mania 30 but they didn't break up until a couple months later but it's ironic Seth walked out on Roman & Dean in this match yet we were all surprised he was the one who broke up The Shield. WWE was already planting the seeds for Seth to be the one who breaks up The Shield. Something hilarious I find about this match is when Roman was getting ready to receive the hot tag, there was a 'Roman Reigns' chant from the Chicago crowd and many months later & years later Roman would get booed out of arenas and stadiums. This match also hits harder knowing Brodie isn't with us anymore.

Not finished the show yet but damn this brings back memories of excitement for me as every passing week meant one week closer to attending my first ever Wrestlemania. Knowing the Network is about to be gone, it's funny watching promos for the Network's launch during this show.

They even had the Shield Summit segment where it felt like they would split right then and there.

A sad day for this entry as on this day in 2013 we lost one of the greatest wrestling managers of all time... Paul Bearer. Just imagine if he was still around to do filming for all those Undertaker specials on the Network. Table for 3 with Taker, Kane & Bearer? Would have been fun to see Taker & Paul do a shoot interview together, sucks we will never get to see that. Imagine if they brought Paul back in 2013 to be Taker's manager for his match against Punk, the promos between the two Pauls, Bearer & Heyman would have been gold.

The Rock and Steve Austin vs the nWo

The only time Austin and Hogan faced off in a match.

As great as Rock/Hogan was, I wonder what would've happened if this match was at WM. The same ending as WM18 with Hogans split from NWO, and we had Rock,Austin,Hogan celebrating as WM ends.

But Austin/Hogan and Rock/Flair are two matches we never got one on one, but it was nice that we at least did see them face off in a tag match.

This is a combination one for this entry. Monday March 9th, 2020 was the last WWE RAW WITH fans in attendance and WWE was scrambling to figure out what to do for Smackdown as they could no longer have fans in attendance for shows due to the pandemic. On Friday March 13th, 2020 Triple H would kickoff the first of many shows taking place at the Performance Center throughout 2020.

Fortunate for them that they had everything set up in the PC for NXT that week.
