That Survivor Series swerve was so good.

Pretty wild that Rock hit Vince with a Rock Bottom on the go home show I believe it was.

When I was watching 98 Raws building up to SS, even though I knew what was going to happen, it's still so weird realizing how much things were pointing in a certain direction just to swerve people in the end.

And it wasn't one of those swerves for the sake of it (like Jason Jordan as Angles son), it actually was better that way.

Speaking of that, Reigns should've been part of the Authority. Seeing what Reigns is like now is full proof how a heel entitled Reigns is such a good character.

On this day.... something we won't ever see again. Rick Rude made wrestling history by appearing on RAW & Nitro on the same night. Rude appeared alongside DX during a taped RAW, then showed up on the live Nitro alongside the NWO.

Then only a year away from Rock winning his first title at Survivor Series 1998 is amazing.

And Rock was only 25 there. He went from that version of Rock to the Icon facing Hogan at WM in 5 years. That whole era of Wrestling, 92-02 in general, feels like 20 years compressed in terms of all the stuff that happened.

Five years ago on NXT, the deck was stacked.
                      • Michael Cole, in charge of NXT for the night and on orders from WWE Corporate, makes the match
                      • Eva Marie has Nia Jax in her corner
                      • WWE Corporate sends senior official Charles Robinson to ensure no controversy

                      Could Bayley overcome the odds?

This is one of the most underrated womens matches in WWE history imo.

As much as I didn't care for Eva Marie (although her gimmick right before she left was good), that role she had that night was perfect. Great storytelling that night and that is exactly how you get heat on one star and huge cheers for the other.

Though her promo to set up that match was horrible. She had 0 crowd control and tried getting the crowd to quiet down by speaking to them like you'd speak to some noisy 4 year old kid lol.

I mean, it was a 2015 NXT crowd...

It's time to snap into a Slim Jim for today's flashback. On this day back in 2004, TNA held a PPV called Turning Point which saw the legendary Macho Man Randy Savage team up with a young AJ Styles & Jeff Hardy to take on "The Kings of Wrestling", Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. This would be Randy's final wrestling match in his career.

Not a bad record for AJ Styles, he teamed with Randy Savage in his final match and got to face the Undertaker in his final match.

                            Also on the card:

NWA Tag Team Championship: Team Canada (Eric Young & Bobby Roode) vs B.G. James & Ron Killings

Six Man Tag: Sonny Siaki, Hector Garza & Sonjay Dutt vs Kid Kash, Michael Shane and Kazarian

                            Monty Brown vs Abyss

Pat Kenney & Johnny B. Badd vs Johnny Swinger & Glen Gilbertti

                            DDP vs Raven

X Division Championship: Petey Williams vs Chris Sabin

Six Sides of Steel Match: America's Most Wanted vs Triple X (Christopher Daniels & Eli Skipper)

Man, I'd recommend the PlutoTV app for any wrestling fan. It's free but also has a dedicated channel for TNA. They do weekly recaps (which I don't watch) but they also show a lot of "best of" and older PPV cards.
