God that clip gets me so jacked up. JR at his absolute peak.

I still say with a couple tweaks they could have pulled off an amazing Invasion story even without the missing major names. And of all the names I think Bischoff was the most important.

Austin getting in the ring with all those dudes and taking them all out is such an awesome/ridiculous moment. Only he could pull that off. Even Hogan or Cena couldn't have made that work.

Ehhh I’m pretty sure Prime Hogan could have believably cleared a whole ring like that too.

Yeah the whole heel turn days later, they ruined the angle already by having Shane & Stephanie involved and making it all about the McMahon family. The Austin heel turn didn't do much, I know the pop Angle got in his hometown of Pittsburgh winning the title was a great moment. It really just became WWF Superstars vs WWF Superstars by the time we got to Survivor Series.

I liked the Austin turn since it led to Rock returning. The themes he had though weren't good.

              In Your House: International Incident

Mankind was scheduled to face Jake Roberts but Jake was pulled the night of the show, leading to the only singles match between Mankind and Henry O. Godwinn.

A Mankind vs Jake Roberts feud could have gone some interesting ways, although at that point Jake was in boring babyface mode.

I think it was mercury that said it in another thread but that angle should've and could've been so much better regardless of names not being present.

I mentioned it before too. They easily could've just done an ECW vs WWF story, and then after Survivor Series brought in the WCW part of the Invasion which concluded at WM18.

You had RVD, Dreamer, Rhyno, Tazz, Raven, Dudleys and others already on the roster. They could've been the ones going against WWF.

Once WWF beats them, Flair comes back the same as he did, but announces that he and Shane (who has been absent/"suspended from WWF" since WM) are here to start a new war.

Which of course leads to NWO and others coming in. And the WM card stays the same too.

WWF Champ Rock vs WCW Champ Hogan
                            WWF Austin vs WCW Hall
                            WWF Taker vs WCW Flair

And so on. Maybe HHH vs Nash instead of Jericho since theres no Undisputed title yet.

                              Wouldn’t have been the same.

And I would’ve been good on a HHH-Nash match at that time.

                                9 years ago, Raw 1000

One of the most hyped up shows in WWE history.

Also the launch of the 3 hour Raws. Can't believe we've had 3 hour Raws for 9 years! I doubt that day will ever come, but imagine what 2 hour Raws will feel like again if they ever had it. Show would go by even quicker. Hopefully SD never goes to 3 hours.
