That moment right there basically kicked off the Monday Night Wars and was also the first seed planted for one of the biggest moments in Wrestling history.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: On this day in professional wrestling history...
It's been 15 years!
I never saw DX during the AE, but I remembered the fake DX reunion in 2002. This was during the early years of message boards really taking off. People went crazy seeing the DX chop at WM by BOTH guys, thinking it would lead to something.
One of my earlier moments from OS was someone here posting the spoiled poster for Vengeance. It had the DX logo spray painted on it. People kept debating if it was even real. I think I got an infraction or a warning back then for talking about potential spoilers.
I never read internet rumors much back then, I think this was one of the first. I think everyone knew the reunion was coming. They opened Raw with McMahon basically saying HHH and HBK would be reunited (in a hospital).
People had varying opinions, but I actually loved the stuff we saw from DX more during this time than the AE version.Last edited by Majingir; 06-12-2021, 12:39 PM.Comment

Re: On this day in professional wrestling history...
I wonder how the KOTR would have gone if booked better.
Imagine if Lesnar vs Austin was the KOTR finals. Obviously this means Austin never walks out, and we'd have a KOTR finals where at the time its Lesnar or Austin staring down a SS title match with Undertaker or HHH.Comment
