Final match and wasn't it his final appearance ever too?

Still so surreal how everything went down, and how I'm guessing this match was just to write him off temporarily, probably not expecting his condition to just plummet within 2 months, but also amazing how absolutely nothing ever got leaked. Glad everyone had enough respect to not share anything going on.

The one and only singles match between Randy Orton and Eddie Guerrero.

After all this time, it's kinda weird looking back and seeing them across the ring from each other.

It's weird too because they're from the same era, but with the brand extension being as important as it was back then, you wouldn't get the crossover we get nowadays.

Eddie's career as a whole, it's crazy how many guys he faced just once one on one.

Rock, Orton, HHH(technically they faced twice, but one was a 3 min match in the AE), Punk, Jeff Hardy, Undertaker (at a house show).

Kayla Braxton is celebrating her 5th year anniversary with WWE today. She took to Twitter to announce her 5 year anniversary of being hired by the Voice of WWE, Michael Cole who is in charge of the announcers.

I'm sure Paul Heyman will send his regards to her for on this anniversary...

This was yesterday but came across this just earlier on Reddit. On October 19th, 1999 a young Justin Roberts appeared on the Jerry Springer Show.

IMO, compared to AEW, mid-late 00s TNA had the way better roster, maybe even better shows, but was basically just reduced to feeling like the low budget/small show.

Their TV sucked (largely because Russo gave it that ugly trash TV vibe left over from 2000 WCW), but their roster was pretty good on paper. Then again you could argue WCW had the better roster than WWE from 1996 all the way til they went under.

That moment when Angle debuted was pretty huge. Historically it was one of the most important post-WCW moments when it comes to trying to establish a legit WWE alternative.

That felt so big at the time, loved the headbutt from Angle too.

Saw this one on WWE Network's social media, so I figure I'll throw it here since I didn't remember these two crossing paths much if at all.

October 27th, 1991: WCW Halloween Havoc. This card featured the Chamber of Horrors match where the only way to win was to electrocute one of your opponents. Lex Luger defending the WCW Title against Ron Simmons in a 2 out of 3 falls match, the debut of the WCW Halloween Phantom and future legends abound everywhere on the card.
