      It wrapped up too nicely.

Brawl Out and Brawl In bookends CM Punk end in AEW.

24 years ago today. Classic stuff. I love that they successfully made babyfaces out of Vince and the Stooges with this. But I can't for the life of me remember the context of any of this. Like the specific leadup or aftermath. 24 years is a while ago.

It's crazy how so many memorable moments in WWE history literally came in such a short time. I don't mean the attitude era, I mean a month or two timespan in 1998!

It's just so crazy how much things changed so quickly.

Nobody was even thinking of a Wyatt return, then all those videos/qr codes and everything happened, then he returned, we saw him for a few months, then he was gone from TV and we eventually found out why and then he passed away.

Happened to watch this today, talk about crazy timing. Didn't even realize it until halfway into the episode that it happened 22 years ago today.

                  October 8 2001
Stone Cold wins his final WWF title after beating Kurt Angle thanks to......WWF COMMISSIONER William Regal.

Regals betrayal would obviously lead to him joining a certain club a month later....

I wonder if this was the original plan the month prior when Angle won? They only had Angle win to begin with because it was weeks after 9/11 and the PPV was in Angles hometown.

Also fitting that Regal is the one helping Austin win his final title. Never realized how close Austin and Regal were (travelled together during the earlier days of their careers along with Foley).

October 22nd, 2018. Roman Reigns announces that he is battling leukemia and has to relinquish the Universal Championship. The ending of the segment with Rollins and Ambrose coming out to embrace him, Rollins' you can see was broken with the news.

Later that night, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins won the Tag Team Championships. Then the unthinkable happened.... "not on the night Roman announced his cancer battle, no way."

                    WWE: Yes way.

And they were gonna make Ambrose throw in a line during his "masked up" (not wanting to catch the germs of the regular people) days relating to Reigns leukemia but Ambrose refused to say it.

This should go down as one of the best segments in WWE history.

For all the hate brand vs brand gets at times, you gotta love when it's done right and it really feels like an invasion/war.
