I thought for sure WWE would have answered to UFC removing Jon Jones from UFC 200 by removing from Roman from the Triple Threat at Battleground. Sadly, I guess not and now the WWE has just sent a terrible message to the rest of the locker room. Unless of course the suspension itself is a storyline.

Any other guy gets suspended, it doesn't get mentioned outside of the PR statement stating that they have been suspended. For Roman, they have been talking about it way too much, almost as if the suspension itself is a story line and Roman failed a story line drug test but they did the usual press release, keep him out for 30 days to make it seem real.

There's a difference between legitimate competition and fake wrestling. A top guy on a tv show getting preferential treatment isn't the shocker you seem to think.

They've also been publicly shaming him for a couple weeks now, but I see that's easily spun into this being a storyline...I guess?
