We're talking kayfabe right? Cuz I doubt Shane is legit going to be running the booking/writing on Smackdown.

I think we'll be seeing a lot of Stephanie and Shane going forward.

In reality, WWE should follow NXT's lead with how they use William Regal. A non-obtrusive GM who gets little camera time.

I'm imagining Shane/Steph will play the Vince role for their respective brands and make occasional appearances and thus it will be more special when they make an appearance with "a big announcement".

All I know is KO has to go to Smackdown.

He has to throw a huge tantrum when his name is called.

He has to then go on to either:

        a) Refuse to do anything until he is traded and essentially act like any other disgruntled athlete who hates their team.

        Or

        b) Quickly go on to win the title and make Shane's life a living hell.

I knew Darren Young would win. They don't build him up for months and then have him redebut in a loss in a battle royal.

I loved hearing Shane saying he's change everything. That's what we need. SmackDown needs a completely different look and feel.

I'm confused on the commissioner and GM deals. But I'm assuming Daniel Bryan will be one. Triple H should step up and talk about how NXT beats them all.

I really like the Young/Backlund pairing, but I wish they would have done something between him doing the vignettes and him winning the battle royal. They seem to struggle with building guys from the lower card in to the mid card for title shots. Guys like Ryder, Titus, The Miz, and now Young just appear out of nowhere in the mid-card title picture.

Wait what? I guess I can see what you mean about Young coming out of nowhere. They did seem to skip a step where he seemed "ready". But why do you think the other three came out of nowhere?

Am I asking too much for a guy to get a win or two on a PPV before he gets a title shot? The fact that Ryder got new music does more to make me think he'll beat Rusev for the US title than a win in a 16 man tag match and trading wins with Sheamus.

Zack Ryder won literally one match in 2+ years on the main roster before winning the IC title at Mania. How is that not coming out of nowhere? The other two I agree with. Rusev beat John Cena last year or 2 years ago for the US Title also was around when Del Rio won it so no big deal there. I completely forget how Miz won it so I can't comment on that one.

I have no issue with Rusev, my issue is that they just give Titus a shot at his title out of nowhere and expect us to think he has a chance of winning it. The only thing I can think of that The Miz has done between ditching Mizdow and winning the IC title is The Rock showing up on Raw and telling him to park his truck. Ziggler and Nattie are others that come to mind. Ziggler randomly gets a match with HHH for a chance to pick a WM match or Nattie gets two title shots vs Charlotte, but they make no effort to make us think the challenger actually has a shot of winning.

With that being said, I like how they're slowly bringing Corbin and Crews along.
