I actually thought Stephanie was going to get SD and Shane was going to get Raw. Then Stephanie would complain how Shane got 3 hours compared to her 2 hours. Then Vince would say that Raw was going to be reduced to 2 hours for fairness.

That would've been far better imo. I can't take 3 hour RAW's when MNF is on but at least Shane is something fresh. We had The Authority on RAW for two years already."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Re: Raw 7/11/16: The Beast Incarnate's Return???
I may be turning in to a conspiracy theory nutjob, but I'm starting to think the Reigns suspension is a work. If the Ambrose/Rollins match end in a no contest where they just beat the hell out of each other and Reigns gets drafted to Raw the following night, then I'm thinking Reigns wins at Battleground and joins The Authority where they announce he never failed a test and they just gave him a month off so the other two would take each other out
Now if you'll excuse me while I go remove my tin foil hatLast edited by reyes the roof; 07-11-2016, 11:56 PM.Comment

I can see where reyes is coming from since WWE has never, from my recollection, acknowledged a suspension on their programming. But yeah no way in hell they're that stupid, it would prove people right that their drug program was nothing but a PR tool for Linda's senate campaign .Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: Raw 7/11/16: The Beast Incarnate's Return???
I can't complain about RAW this week at all. Opening with a Battle Royal to figure out the #1 contender for the IC Title was good as I had no clue who was going to win. The finish was interesting with Darren Young doing nothing to get the eliminations but I'm glad he won. Bob Backlund is going to make him great again. The Sheamus/Ryder match served a purpose in Ryder getting a US Title match against Rusev. The rest of the booking made sense as well. Owens/Cesaro was a good match and I liked the finish. Zayn and Owens continue to make their feud look like they hate each other. Was not sure if Cena was going to appear but glad he showed up to help Enzo and Cass after their match against Anderson and Gallows.
I thought the New Day/Wyatt Family segments were corny but that brawl they had looked vicious. We hardly see Parking Lot Brawls or Hardcore matches anymore so this felt like it was the best we could. I ended up liking this. The filters were just too much though. Best segment of the night goes to the Rollins Report. He was on fire and Ambrose was on point with his promo too. Everything he said was so fast that I don't think you could remember all that on a script. Roman Reigns continues to get buried. All Dana Brooks has done is job so I wasn't surprised she lost to Sasha Banks in a lengthy match. And with the way how RAW ended, they are really going to make RAW and Smackdown a competition again. I guess so.Comment

Firefly lights at the end were a cool visual.

Commissioners will probably hardly be on the show, and the GM will be like a Teddy Long figure.Come hang with me on YouTube! I stream/make videos on a variety of games from sports, to action, to adventure!

The sad thing is that Wyatt segment wasn't the worst segment I have seen this past week.

The way I see it, the commissioners might actually be doing a lot behind the scenes in order to shape their shows. I saw some truth in Vince's statement that this was their chance to show they could run it. The GM is on-air authority figure while Shane and Steph will be authoritative behind scenes.

Re: Raw 7/11/16: The Beast Incarnate's Return???
Having commissioners AND general managers is convoluted and dumb as hell. All it does is take away even more from the in-ring stuff. There's already enough non-kayfabe political BS going on behind the scenes, we don't need produced segments and angles presenting this as a TV product as well. Wish WWE would realize that we really don't care about GMs and "booker" characters.Comment
