Glad there wasn't some weird swerve. This makes the most sense. Shane will bring viewers over to Smackdown with the hope that he truly does run it differently.

Wait, isn't a GM and a commish the same thing in the wrestling world?

Well everyone thinks Raw would be better at 2 hours so maybe Smackdown will feel like the better product.

I really hope he was telling the truth and Smackdown does feel different. Guess I'll find out next week since I just got tickets to Smackdown!!! My first event since the 91 Royal Rumble when I was 9.

The Authority(they couldn't drop enough Triple H hints at the end) vs Shane/Another Face. I honestly was hoping for a swerve where Vince was so disappointed in them as he said that he named someone else the Commissioners.

Then we would get a nice surprise of say Bischoff returning for one last run, Daniel Bryan, Mick Foley, etc. Hell even Triple H getting the Commissioner job over Stephanie and then Triple H naming someone else besides Steph the GM next week on Raw, something shocking.

I kind of felt Shane was going to get Smackdown as I hear Smackdown is going to be getting a new logo at the very least with the move. Once Shane made his pitch on change, it was pretty clear what he was going to get to me. New night, new logo, they can play up that Shane is the one responsible for all these changes.
