It’s not a theory. Increased muscle mass and strength training absolutely helps protect athletes in high contact sports from injury. Not only does the increased muscle help cushion contact but the increased strength of the muscles and tendons help to keep joints in place. Take Big E as an example. A regular size guy takes that bump? Pretty good chance he’s relearning how to walk after.

The thing some hugely muscular athletes don’t do enough is flexibility training. They need a balance of both.

Let's add 2 more to the Wrestling IR List. Tony Khan said that both KOR and Bobby Fish will be out of action with injuries.

Kyle O’Reilly, getting taken out by Sting, that’s a real life legitimate injury and Kyle O’Reilly is out, not sure how long, but it’s a big loss and we were not expecting that. He had been on fire for the company, it’s a big deal to lose Kyle O’Reilly.

With Fish and O’Reilly being out, Fish just had a great main event with Darby on Rampage, that’s another big loss for the company, Fish, we expect back sooner from that ankle injury than O’Reilly with his injuries.

Sucks to see someone get injured, but…

Damn it... can these injuries stop? Dax Harwood announced he suffered a seperated shoulder at Forbidden Door.

Guess it wasn't a work. I know ROH PPV is next month, so hopefully, he'll be fine by then.

                    AEW Off-Topic

Kenny Omega had some interesting comments on the CEO Gaming twitch channel when asked how his daily routine has been like to get back into working shape...

"Oh my god, I don't want to talk about it...Look, if I get another major setback, that’s it I'm done because I can't do this ever again. It's like two to three times a day of really painful rehab. And without even knowing what it's going to be like to get back into the ring. I have no clue. It's scary actually. You'll see some people come back to the ring and you're just happy to see them back. But there's a different expectation put on me and anything less than what they are expecting, which is already unrealistic, is going to lead to ridicule. Which I already get every day."

I don't think he's necessarily talking about a setback in his rehab, but rather another major injury. Still no known timetable for his return.

Yeah as much as they play up the whole we aren't allowed to sing Judas anymore, even though they stopped doing it. This is why Jericho, the lead singer of Fozzy won't stop Chris Jericho the wrestler from using it as his theme.

“For 22 years we’ve heard every insult from “Fozzy isn’t a real band” to “Jericho lip synchs” to “Jericho is a wrestler not a singer.” WE knew none of that was true, as did hundreds of thousands of our fans worldwide. And now after working out asses off to write the best songs we could and play the best shows possible, WE have the ultimate evidence & proof to show that WE were right….WE ROCK! THANK YOU to everybody who has believed in and supported @fozzyrock and thanks to everybody who contributed to helping Judas attain a GOLD ****IN RECORD!!!! 500,000 Fozzy fans can’t be wrong…WE LOVE YOU!!! ” - Chris Jericho

I've never been more tired of Chris Jericho. He went from one of my favorites to turning the channel when he's on the screen.

Keith Lee's tweet from last night is raising some concerns about his near future. As of now, AEW is still promoting the triple threat tag title match for tonight's Dynamite.

Well... Covid again? Another injury or medical situation perhaps? Lee just can't catch a break.

I believe it is family related, at least based on his previous tweets where he was asking for prayers for his brothers
