    Those two deserve each other.

Gresham is a good technician. However, would you rather build a company around Gresham or Claudio?

Gresham got dealt a bad hand with ROH shuttering for awhile. But I had a feeling something was fixing to go down between Gresham’s interviews and her incessant stumping all weekend of his virtues.

I hate to say it, but Gresham was always going to be held back by his size. A good hand to have…but not someone you build a company around. Especially a company you are trying to score a TV deal with.

Online scuttlebutt is that Tully Blanchard might be hitting the exit scene too.

Crazy that him, Gresham and Eli Drake/LA Knight/Max Dupri might all be getting cut loose.

Sucks, cause Tully could've been a good mouthpiece for a talent (*cough* Brian Cage *cough*) that needed one.

Unfortunately, all the bland guys (Garcia, Yuta, Allin & Guevara) are all in stables with more chrasimatic people or doing the solo act (Jungle Boy) as a babyface.

I hope his time with that stable and the company isn't ending because of health reasons.

CM Punk gave an update on his foot injury at SDCC, says he is re-learning how to walk. This is why the whole Interim Champion thing is so dumb, Moxley should just be named the real champion and Punk will get a rematch for the title he never lost when cleared.

Mike Roe tweeted the above, noting Punk himself said he has no timetable and his foot was so bad he has had to learn to walk again as he heals from it. Punk announced his injury back in early June and has been out of action ever since.
Tony Khan's response on if Punk will be ready by Labor Day:

“We’ll see. I can’t rule it out but I also can’t promise because I don’t want to say anything when it comes to somebody’s recovery from a real serious injury. He’s really battling hard to get back as soon as he possibly can.”

I had to back when I had compound fracture of my tibia fibula around the knee joint. Still have some issues with remembering to walk heel-toe on my right leg.

Man, even my torn bicep femoris it just simply sucked walking and I had to "teach" the muscle how to extend and sit again.

Injuries do different things to different people. Leg injuries in particular suck. I couldn't imagine breaking my foot.

Can't help but think now that Vince is gone and HHH is in charge of creative, this is somewhat of a worst-case scenario for AEW because HHH never held anyone back due to their lack of size in NXT. WWE may now be a viable option when some of the big names' contracts are up

That’ll put the lid on all those people talking like everyone from black and gold NXT was going to immediately jump back.

I mean we knew they were under contract and weren't going to leave asap and comeback. I think talent who aren't doing anything and not signed anywhere will come back but Hunter will wait out the AEW deals to bring everyone else back.

What's gonna be really cool as a fan is watching people jump back and forth, ideally. Companies will always have lifers but seeing new people in new environments is always fun, at least for the novelty. Looking forward to Adam Cole in WWE in 2028 lol.

Everyone should be rooting for competition. If WWE starts valuing certain things more than they used to, and that forces AEW to do X, Y or Z, then that will be good thing. There are way way more than 1.9M wrestling fans out there on Mondays who want to watch wrestling. And way more than 900k on Wednesday.

I am a firm believer in a rising tide lifts all boats, and right now it feels like a real rising tide moment in wrestling. It doesn't necessarily require everyone's cooperation and everyone getting along, but having places where wrestlers/sports entertainers can go and ply their craft all around the globe and in front of many viewers can really only be good for most people.

Seems like Tony Khan took to heart some of the criticisms from some of the released talents regarding communications. AEW made an announcement regarding the expansion of its talent relations team.
