I would say it would depend on the venue.
    City definitely impacts it too.

I signed up for presale and hopefully can be on a computer around the time it begins. As long as prices aren't too bad I'll definitely get it. The WWE ones for a house show in the same venue just 2 months later don't seem so bad, so hopefully Dynamite here is about the same.

This venue is only one level, aka 100s + floor seats. So even the worst seats are still lower bowl with nothing above you so it's a straight view of the action.

      This is interesting...

Khan also stated that right before the meeting took place, AEW's Megha Parekh, the Chief Legal Officer for the company, who is effectively the #2 in the promotion's hierarchy, sent an email to WWE's Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon warning them "not to tamper" with his talent.
I wonder what's been going on. Obviously HHH has been trying to get his NXT guys back, but would "tampering" be involved? And who would he target if that's the case? Swerve? Cole? Lee?

Jericho tweeted a few days back joking about a Zayn,Owens,Jericho team and joked about tampering. Could someone in WWE have contacted him?

Lol “tampering” there’s no such thing in this instance. That only exists in professional sports because it’s collectively bargained into the CBA’s. The only thing holding wrestlers to their promotions is how well their contracts are written.

Are we to believe that Toni Storm and Jeff Hardy just magically appeared in AEW without any tampering having occurred? I'm sure it happens all the time throughout multiple promotions, so not sure what (realistic) legal recourse they have.

I wasn’t saying the act of what’s considered tampering under NFL/NBA guidelines doesn’t occur. I’m saying the idea that one promoter accusing the other of “tampering” is dumb because there’s nothing illegal about it. I’m saying it’s only bad and a thing you don’t do in pro sports because they’ve all agreed not to do it.

So for either WWE or AEW or New Japan or Impact or whoever to complain about another promotion “tampering” is silly.

Yeah, I get you. I was stating that those were clearly situations where something behind the scenes went on.

And from what we know of the pro wrestling industry (from dirtysheets, documentaries and shoot interviews) this type of thing goes on often. Nothing is stopping talent from communicating with one another and advising them to "do" certain things, let's say.

This just seems like a work to set up a program between this two going. Ever since the JAS vs. BPCC/Santana, Ortiz and Kingston thing ended neither party has done much of anything.

Hopefully they can get a decent feud and a match (or matches) out of this and it isn't just a hastily booked, one - off for the PPV.

I would normally agree with you except Eddie had already challenged Sammy to a match at All Out a week or two ago.

Wow, AEW tickets for the Toronto show are insane.

They're running in a smaller venue, but making up for the capacity by doubling prices.

It STARTS at $155 (before Ticketmaster fees and taxes).

I got WWE tickets for Raw with better seats for cheaper!

Plan worked though because it sold out within 20 or so mins. I couldn't even get in to the tickets until the end even though I was waiting before pre sale started.

Same venue for a WWE house show starts at a quarter of that price.

Jeez…I could’ve gotten floor seats in Columbus, OH for $79. I wonder how much of that is Ticketmaster shenanigans?

Jeez, if this was a stadium show I could actually understand the higher prices but damn that's stupid expensive just for Dynamite/Rampage.

It is Canadian Dollars, but even then, $155 Canadian is still like $120 US.

And you gotta love Ticketmasters service fees because it costs more to sell tickets online than in person for some reason.

How has no other company tried just outdoing Ticketmaster? These fees and the way they do some things is ridiculous. Only thing I like about Ticketmaster is that you can view every seat.

Rampage apparently started at $80, but still, I'd rather a WWE house show for $30 than Rampage for $80 in same venue. I checked the price for the seat I got for the WWE show in a few months and it's under $40 vs $155 for exact same seat for Rampage. So even the $80 Rampage seats is basically a small portion to make it seem like tickets start cheap. I'm guessing Dynamite for those same seats would've been over $200.

I mean, it did sell so they got what they wanted, it just sucked for regular fans. Scalpers buy it up at expensive prices and sell it for more expensive prices.

I'm hoping public sale tomorrow has some cheap, but I doubt it. Maybe I'll get lucky closer to the show date. Even the WWE tickets I got, I bought them a few months after it went on sale, but it was still a month away from the actual show.

I didn't realize that. Good point, so maybe this isn't a work and they had a scuffle backstage. It happens especially with a guy like Kingston that claims he "hates" a lot of people.

Let's not forget the Women... apparently there's heat between Britt and Thunder Rosa, Jamie Hayter doesn't like her either lol. All these stories coming out seemingly at once. This is from Fightful:

Fightful says Rosa has heat with people competing at All Out. Britt and Rosa "can't stand each other" like VoW said. This has been going on for over a year, though they've tried to be professional. They remain open to working with each other despite that.

Since breaking her nose, Jamie Hayter has heat with Rosa, stemming from her working stiff.

Talent has said that Rosa has worked to get young women on the show while others are saying she's hard to work with and has been developing an ego. Some say she's been a positive locker room leader.

Fightful has been unable to confirm other reports about Rosa hiding from Hayter. Rosa's injury is legit but not known. Speculated to be bulging discs.
At this rate, AEW should name their second video game... "Backstage Assault" lol.
