Also performed "All Star" by Smash Mouth too. I know the judges don't know who they are but they really sound dumb at times when they blurt out things like "WHO IS THAT?" and stuff. He needs to sing Judas in the finale though.

The crowd response, as well as the overwhelming response from the wrestling industry over his “pipe bomb” promo with WWE, I feel it gave him a feeling of invincibility, and may have really sparked a narcissistic fire within him if it wasn’t already lit. At that time, wrestling fans saw him as someone standing up against “the man” and thought he was doing what was right in a way.

In time, stepping back and looking at the man behind the character, is has become obvious that he is really a deeply-rooted narcissist. The pipe bomb promo fueled his desires to have a hand in the invisible control that he never really got, and he never got into that inner circle that I believe he was wanting to get in to, and he eventually left WWE.

And now we know why the Best-of-seven between Death Triangle and The Elite had an open date that coincided with Wrestle Kingdom.

Kenny vs Ospreay. Oh hell yeah!

I'm watching Backlash 2001 and a cool match I'm surprised we haven't really seen since.

Angle vs Benoit in an "Ultimate Submission Match", which is a 30 minute ironman match with only submissions being allowed.

Give me Danielson vs whoever in this match.

AEWs video game sounds like it could be a single release with additions added throughout the games lifespan rather than an annual release.

This will be an interesting concept to see if it works.

Obviously we know why sports games will never do this, even if it's every other year release (imagine NBA 2K24-25).

                      Let's say you make 1m in sales a game. In 4 years that's 4m.

Every other year release might make you 1.5m in sales per game. That's still only 3m.

I think they went into this thinking it would be one thing, and now they are less ambitious. Supposedly they were originally going to self publish the game, but eventually realized that that wasn't going to happen. They have people there who have worked on video games before, but not a full AAA one like this.

On the media call for the ROH PPV, Tony Khan addressed the Regal situation. Said that Regal had signed a one year deal with multiple option years. Regal approached him in October that he didn’t want Tony to pick up his option because he wanted to go back to WWE to work with his son.

Tony said that the way the release is written, he can return to WWE to work in a backstage role, but not appear as an on-air talent.

That's bittersweet he won't be able to be an on air talent.

I wonder if it's a full time thing that he can't appear, or like AEWs version of a no compete where he needs to wait 90 days.

It's for the entirety of 2023. Regal's deal is up at the end of the month, then he goes back to WWE as a coach but isn't allowed to appear on tv in 2023.

Holy... where is the criticism at for Tony? At least follow WWE in the 90 day no compete clause. A year just sounds Salty on Tony's part that Regal left.
