Similar to last week, a big brawl to end the show that is simply overbooked. Just way too much happening at once and went longer than needed to.

Disagree, factions were a staple of 80's and 90's wrestling and it's what WWE has been sorely missing. You can have so many different storylines going involving these guys without the title being the main focus. It's extremely refreshing.

Overbooked in 2019 was the HIAC main event. Dynamite's ending tonight was fine, in fact it reminded me of a good 'ol WCW vs NWO brawl. If they do it three weeks in a row though, then it will start to be overkill.

Lol, Private Party ring intro.

Even JR doesn't get the time updates. Roberts comes on with the announcement, and JR had no idea what was going on and is like "What was that?", thinking someone randomly got on a live mic.

Like I've said before, just have a graphic on TV and make Roberts more audible during those moments, or just have commentary give those updates and the fans in attendance don't need updates.

He's been doing this comedy gimmick on the indies for a while. He's really funny and creative, and it just turned into a cult thing.

JR was the one who suggested AEW do time announcements in the first place, fyi.

Which makes it weirder. He seemed surprised when it happened.

But they do need to do better job at the time announcements. Nothing wrong with doing it, but fans on TV have no idea what is being said.

Later in the night JR did repeat what was said, which is more like what should happen.

AEW: 1,018,000/0.46
NXT: 790,000/0.22

WWE would have been better off giving AEW Wednesday nights, because the way it is now they can't look down on a million viewers when their own Wednesday show is doing less. They could have been like, "sure, you can have Wednesdays, while we're over here on Monday and Friday doing two/three times your number." But Vince can't help himself.

PAC 2-0, btw.

Even if you use Cody's lame CFB significant wins matter more rhetoric, PAC should be competing in this match.

Darby's only beaten CIMA and Havoc only has beaten Janela and Darby.

Pac has beaten Omega and Hangman. How is a single win over Cima/Janela/Darby better than wins over 2 of the 3 guys that had a shot at winning the title?

Funny you mention this...Pac was on commentary last night complaining about this very fact lol

It’s been two weeks and it’s a A show running against a third brand. I reckon everything is gonna be alright for everyone involved.

4 hours of wrestling on one night is just too damn much.

Factoring in Monday, Wednesday and Friday and it's 9 hours a WEEK. Not to mention the online-only shows.

Didn’t AEW do 1.5 last week and NXT did .7/.8? If NXT is holding at about a .8 even at AEW’s launch then I’d say we should probably wait a month or two to see where AEW actually settles in after the newness wears off before deciding who did and didn’t make good programming choices. Personally I hope AEW stays above NXT because I think that pushes WWE more. If they just behind all three shows WWE might stop viewing them as a threat and stop caring again.

I actually wish AEW was against Raw and not NXT cause I can see if AEW does continue to beat NXT Vince would be like I can't have this, need to be involved more.

Only matches thus far that I have not enjoyed as much are the women's matches, for whatever reason.

Riho vs Nyla had its moments in week 1, granted.
