Have to say this, I have seriously thought about unfollowing the AEWonTNT IG page just out of sheer annoyance of the dumb memes and attempts at humor. They are trying so hard to seem in tune with younger (I guess?) demos on there. That is definitely one area where WWE is less annoying lol. They are way more straight forward.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
Tonight is the last show at Dailys place before going back on the road.
It will feel much weirder seeing AEW than it will be WWE with fans back. You almost forget those crowds for AEWs shows their first 5 months. Just felt like Dailys Place was normal for them.Comment

The video package they showed at the end…man a lot of stuff has happened the past year. Considering the situation such a young company got thrown into…the ability to survive the pandemic can’t be understated.
Sammy and MJF had a banger of a match…and it was good to see the Bucks get a taste of their own medicine.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
After Mania last year, I didn't watch a lot of wrestling in general. I don't know if it was just because of the empty arenas and covid taking my excitement away but hopefully seeing the crowds back, hearing the crowds react again, going to shows(AEW Dynamite in Charlotte, and Summerslam in Vegas so far) will make me excited to watch wrestling again as I did before the pandemic. Kinda wish I went to one of these shows at Daily's Place now.Last edited by UFCMPunk; 06-30-2021, 11:12 PM.Comment

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
I remember thinking when this all started, WWE can hold post pone Mania until the Summer when the fans can come back. Fans will be back in a few months, and over one year later we are finally getting fans back in the arenas at 100% capacity. I'm so ready for fans to return to the arenas and going to the shows and being apart of the crowd, to experience wrestling in person again.

And as we know, days turned to weeks, which turned to months, which turned into over a year!
I really thought that WM was going to be the event which kickstarted them going back on the road. Maybe that was the plan, but it's crazy how it still took 4 months after WM to go on the road.Comment

Sounds like Rebel suffered a dislocated kneecap when she broke up the pin attempt in the tag match.
Almost as freaky of an incident as when Pac broke his ankle in WWE doing a baseball slide.

Shida wasn't even womens champ when it began. Mox literally won his title a few weeks prior. You almost forget just how many made their debuts in the last year+.Comment

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
90 days from the first wave of WWE releases would be next Wednesday.
But there were also rumors that some talent wanted to have their 90 days cut short by a few days so they could appear elsewhere.
With AEWs first show on the road being tomorrow, perhaps we could see a surprise there? Although the first wave isn't as exciting anymore since Samoa Joe was the big name from that group.
But the IIconics would probably be the best get for AEW. They'd instantly be 2 of the top women in the company.Comment
