It's still crazy to think Roman is finally getting cheered as a top babyface after all these years lol.

All it took was ... literally the most basic level of booking logic. But that wasn't allowed until the last few years.

And someone he could work off of that the crowd despises. They didn't have anyone (not named Triple H) that was a heel back in 2014 that the crowd hated this much, IMO.

Yeah, I am certainly down for that.

Smackdown was a bit disappointing tonight. I don't know I expected a bit more for some reason.

I really looked Owens' promo when he accepted the match though. Think it'd be great if they take it down the "you made me do this" slow descent of Owens back into the stop-at-nothing heel thing. But don't have enough time for it by the time the Germany PPV happens.

Santos/LA Knight was hilarious and great. Good stuff with him mocking the catchphrase. Not sure I like Knight's remix.

I needed ten to twenty more minutes of that show ending segment. I still think Fatu's injury is a work to keep him away from Roman for now.

And they made the G.O.D. look like jabronis getting beat up 1 - on - 2. [emoji38]

That's what makes a good face/heel.

Reigns gets cheered so much because fans hate who he is going up against to the point that fans want to see Reigns put an end to them. Before, who was the biggest heel he was going up against as a face? Sheamus? Lesnar? Corbin? Strowman? Owens? Fans liked Owens more than Reigns, didn't care as much about the likes of Corbin or Strowman to boo them as big heels, got tired of Sheamus-Reigns stuff, and Lesnars feuds were all the same.

On the flip side, it's what also makes a good heel when they have a top face to go up against. It's why a heel turn like Austin's didn't work out too. Fans didn't want to boo him but he also didn't have a top face to go up against. If Rock was around during that heel turn that could've helped so much. Fans all thought it was leading to good guy Rock vs bad guy Austin and it never happened.

Yeah, you are right they had no one this despised and good at getting heel heat. Which is an underrated aspect of this run Solo is on.

And beyond Solo, they need more good heels.

Lashley should've been one of them. I don't get how the booking for Lashley and Street Profits has been so bad. Street Profits are one of their most popular teams, Montez could easily break out of that team the way Jeff did the Hardys and become a star, Montez has the look, move set, charisma to be a main guy.

Orton for sure has to be heel in his feud with Cody. Last time Orton was heel infront of fans was February 2019!

Beyond that, there's no many big singles stars who could fill that top level heel role. Melo should be getting a push the way Bron is.

I was thinking more along the lines of .. to be a great babyface u have to be a great heel first. And definitely if you aren't getting over as a babyface, you don't just force feed the issue like Vince did. Hell, that WM in Dallas people were rooting for Triple H over Roman lol. It was embarrassing what they did with him.

Really got a kick out of Kevin wanting to earn a Championship shot and was insisting he didn't deserve it. Only for Aldis to mention Roman getting a rematch and Owens cuts a great promo which got him the match anyway lol.
