I know Mania crowds are much different but that Philly crowd was weak tonight and didn't deserve that segment. I don't know where Bianca went to acting school but damn she was so good tonight. Going to be curious how they intertwine this with the Bianca/Iyo and likely Rhea stuff for Mania and after Mania. Got to admit though, I really thought we were about to get another New Day segment with Bianca & Naomi both admitting they took out Jade to get rid of her or something like that.

It really makes me wonder why they went full on with the streaming for RAW going to Netflix while keeping Smackdown & NXT on regular TV. Netflix is already airing Smackdown & NXT right? So why not just give every show to Netflix or if Peacock still wants in, then they can have Smackdown & NXT or something like that. I am looking forward to Monday Afternoon RAW when those air live on Netflix though.

        Netflix made the best offer.

They weren't even supposed to get Raw either. HHH said that the Netflix deal only happened because they were working on a deal with NXT, then next thing you know Netflix went in and got Raw.

Because of the Peacock deal, Netflix couldn't just get all the rights to everything in the US, and they probably wanted to at least keep one show on USA which ended up being SD.

That was a wonderful episode of Smackdown.

Here's hoping nothing ruined by spoilers for the wholly unnecessary international shows coming up. Kind of big to expect people to stay off social media to avoid **** given the times and people liking to stay on top of things, but whatever.

Sounds like Nakamuras time in WWE could be winding down.

As if it wasn't obvious from the random and sudden title change during SD. It just feels like they've tried everything they can with him, but in WWE especially, if you can't talk on the mic then it's real hard for fans to care about you.

AEW would be reaching out the second he's available to sign him for sure for one of dozens of "dream matches" they'll bill.

Although Nakamura vs Okada and Nakamura vs Omega could be special. He's never faced Omega one on one before, and he has a long history with Okada where despite that I think they only have 2 singles matches against each other in the last 15 years.

But Nakamura vs Omega for sure and even Nakamura vs Ospreay would be big for AEW.

I'm probably in the minority (amongst North American viewers) who loves having shows earlier. It'll feel more like a TV show where the episode just drops and you watch it whenever rather than wait until a specific time in the evening.

All the time like this wouldn't be as good, but for a few week span it's a nice change of pace from the alternative of forced to wait until the night when the taped show airs and the production team edits in/out whatever they want, or in the old days, the Canned SD hair dryer reaction sound.

I guess it's better to air when it happens.

It'll feel like watching an afternoon baseball game during the week.

The SD episodes internationally probably airs live too.

This RAW so far feels meh..... they really relying on Seth & Punk(with a possible Roman return) to anchor this show. That Logan and AJ segment was just... it happened. The fact the crowd itself doesn't seem to be hyped isn't a good thing, especially for a MSG show.

I see the timer is back again this week, the New Day did a promo trashing the New York sports team and no reaction at all. Again, to quote AJ Styles, this is New York City where the smarks usually come out and are loud. This is the road to WrestleMania, crowd simply doesn't seem interested.

                      We have...

Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena with The Rock looming. Everyone is excited and invested.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte. Big MEH.

Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair. No heat yet, just happened last week.

                      Then a bunch of ???

Looks like Logan Paul vs. AJ Styles.

We will likely see tonight what direction Punk and Rollins go. That'll be a huge story, I'm sure.

But, like, what else is there to be excited about? Truthfully.

MacCauley Culkin could show up every week and still get one of the biggest pops of the night.

I agree, I mean not a whole lot to be excited about. So many top guys feel like they should be in a better position for Mania then they actually are. I like Jey and am excited at the prospect of being there live when he wins the World Title with the crowd YEETING but his story with Gunther hasn't hit second gear yet to fully invest people. Iyo vs Bianca just started like you said. With how strong the international crowds are, they need to pick it up story wise because those crowds will let you know they don't like something.

                              No Cena at MSG?

Feels like the perfect show to have had him come out and explain things. Unless his taping schedule really impacts a lot, it's probably easier traveling within Europe since I think he's over there anyways?

But it could also mean they're probably going back to MSG before the end of the year for Cenas final MSG show.

A SNME in MSG would be fun too.

Funny thing I just remembered, fans doing the "let's go cena, cena sucks" chants which we haven't heard in a while. Made me remember that people were doing those chants when waiting in line at SD. They were having fun, but funny to think it foreshadowed that would happen the next night.
