Cena has been holding back for 25 years! This isn't a trolling heel Cena, this is Cena snapping.

Heel Cena should've happened a decade ago!

Considering Cena confirmed he wanted to turn heel as far back as 2012... yeah probably a lot of frustration of Vince saying no was let out in that promo. Usually the "You People" trope is typical but in Cena's case it actually works. Kind of similar to how Roman's "Acknowledge Me" is so good because we refused to acknowledge him for many years.


It's just weird that RAW is in Glasgow, Scotland next week but they moved Drew to Smackdown. Maybe Drew will still be there since Seth is showing up to Smackdown this week in Italy to confront Roman & Punk.

At most I just see Drew being in a dark match or post show segment. Doesn't make much sense being on the actual show since he's feuding with Priest on SD. Unless he just goes to Raw to confront the Judgment Day, blaming them for everything that's happened to him with Priest.

I've seen people say Priest could be Jey's partner so Drew has a reason to be there but if he's a heel, do you risk him getting cheered against Priest when most fans hate the idea of the feud to begin with?

Cena is stupid. That was atrocious. His last minute he spent attacking his fans before Cody came out was the only valuable part of the promo. Super cheesy and corny the Cena way I guess. "You people have been awful to me." Dude sounds like he's 13 years old throwing a temper tantrum. None of it is believable. Especially when he comes out with the merch, rise above hate garbage. Same **** as always. Just go away. Why didn't he talk about teaming up with Rock? Why didn't he mention that the fans or "the ungrateful" whatever is why he abandoned the company for Hollywood, etc?

They should have given this spot to someone else. Something that would have made way more sense.

Rest of the show was OK. Penta may make Breaker interesting. That would be a good match.

Io treated like **** again. Both women's champions are being treated like **** as a matter of story. Interesting. Rhea somewhat out of character with her silliness tonight. Maybe a new dimension.

Most intriguing stuff happening is Karrion Kross. I can't wait for that to blossom. It's great!! Dom talking to him was great.

Rest of the show largely forgettable. I can't wait for them to come back to the states. The crowd was annoying as hell. We need an elaborate chant for every 2 count? We need a sound effect for every everything? Good grief, just shut the **** up.

Enjoyed that Cena promo. This is the promo I wished he had laid out to the crowd a decade ago though. It came a little way too late. But for the context of this heel turn, it was effective and got the crowd into it. In fact, the crowd was electric for the whole show. Really added to the atmosphere of the show. I'm sure we are going to get mainly promos from Cena and Rhodes only as we get closer to WM 41. Will love to see some physically stuff but will wait and see if that happens.

Penta's booking has been quite strong since his arrival. He's been putting on good matches and the crowd continues to be on his side so thats good. He had a great match against Kaiser. Loved seeing Rhea powerbombed Iyo Sky onto Bianca on that table spot during their segment. You know its WM season when things get serious and all three women were awesome. Iyo Sky gets to talk but keeps it short and sweet. Jey Uso squashed Austin Theory. Remember when Theory got a WM win over Cena? Gunther vs Uso Title Match definitely seems like a Night 1 match. IC Title match was cool too. Crowd was into it. Balor made me think he could win it. But nope. Its Breakker's time. The company has really protected him.

Cena being heel one day will lead to a Syndrome on the Incredibles



Someone who will one day say they once idolized Cena but him going heel changed everything they knew about him and when he turned his back on them it began their own villain origin story.

I forgot it was on already.

I won't spoil what happens, but Ortons theme is the one song I never knew would work so well with the crowd singing along to.

Edge/Copeland is another. A few years ago I heard a bunch of people singing it and it sounded cool to hear live, but it didn't come off on tv. Eventually it did make its way into some crowds (most notably in Australia this year).

I know the last time they did a TV event in Italy it was when Santino Marella debuted, but that was 18 years ago!? That would be like looking back on a moment from the 80s during Santinos debut episode.

That's one of my favourite debuts in WWE history. Ones like Jericho, fans knew who he was because or WCW. And Kane's was built up because of Undertaker/Bearer. Santino however, only a very very small part of the internet fans even knew anything about him/OVW, so at the time it did work that they could bring in some complete unknown from the place they're from with nobody knowing he's actually a wrestler.

Still makes me laugh at Vince during Santinos debut having no idea the crowd was doing the seven nation army chant during that show (just a year after their world cup win in which this became their chant during that whole run)

Orton vs KO at WM! There's 0 reason to think it'll happen, but I'd love seeing El Generico coming in and costing Owens the match.

Gives them time to hold off on the Sami Zayn character returning until the summer, but in the meantime you get this "new" feud between KO and his old friend/nemesis who we haven't seen in over a decade.

I'm just going to say it, Netflix has spoiled me with the promos and interviews they do during a "commercial break." I only watched Smackdown live since I was live streaming but Netflix should have took Smackdown on the American version too.

Too many damn commercials, even the side by side during Roman's entrance felt like it took forever.

The fact that we only had a single Ambrose vs Rollins vs Reigns match ever is also ridiculous (and the fact that the only time it happened was at a C show like Battleground). That easily should've been a WM main event one year.

I said it before, I love and hate those breaks.

I love it because it gives you extra parts of the show, but I hate it because if you're not watching live, you're missing the show because those break clips get edited out.

I just don't understand how any of that works. Sometimes during breaks the screen fades away then they come back right away to the show, other times you won't even notice the break starts because the feed stays with the action/entrance.

The funny part of Reigns entrance is them going to break, but the entrance lasted the entire break. Not a wasting time kind of entrance, but that was his actual full entrance.

This is setting up Flair, Austin and maybe Hogan all coming in and costing Cena/Rock right? Austin coming in and hitting Rock and Cena with a stunner would blow the roof off the place
