So Rhea vs Iyo next week for the title is definitely ending in shenanigans to make it a Triple Threat Match.

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread

WWE has really got to stop publicly announcing matches for a future show during a current show (unless its the typical heel being like "you want a match, you got it...but not tonight!")

How many times lately have we seen the whole...

        Good guy: Me and you!
        *Fans cheer*
        Good guy: One on one!
        *Fans cheer*
        Good guy: Next week!
        *Fans boo*

I get you're hyping up a future show, but make the match announcement on commentary for the tv viewers. Fans in the arena don't want to go to a show just to see hype for a Raw or SD that isn't the one they're currently at. This isn't the old days where fans would cheer the chance to see a match happening somewhere down the line. Fans of today want the best show possible that they're attending, not to be teased with a good match happening in a different city.

They should have had Kaiser here too so you could've had Jimmy more involved, possibly even at ringside for the match to combat him.

Bianca counts out both competitors or calls for a DQ so she thinks her plan of keeping Rhea out of WM works but they just add her to the match anyways.

                Really great episode.

El Grande Americano has singlehandedly gotten me to stop fast forwarding through lucha **** for the first time since fast forwarding on TV was invented. That's really a good way to build smaller stories.

The IC finish with Dom trying to give the chair to Penta was a microcosm of Rock trying to corrupt Cody. Nice.

Didn't think the Raw Women's title build was gonna be better than the Smackdown women's title. Really like the whole thing trying to make Io a sympathetic character. She can't speak worth a lick but you feel bad for her and it's justified lol. They should do a ladder match for that one. They'd put on a total show.

Punk claiming that he's not the one taking things personally is ****ing laughable. That guy is *all* personal all the time. Comical.

No Drew in Scotland. Kinda stinks.

Cena speech better this week but man it's clear that Cody can run circles on Cena. He's *significantly* better at talking than Cena has *ever* been. Are we uh, you know, gonna hear from Cena about why he took the Rock's offer, what the benefits are, how is he "corporate" now etc? Or is it gonna be a bunch of 15 year old teenager style rambling ****?

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread

Random observation, but it feels like the England shows will be half Raw half SD rosters for both shows or something like that?

New Day and Gable have both mentioned "going back to America" after Raw, meanwhile the European tour still has another week left including Raw and SD in the same venue.

Which does make me think they don't need most of their roster for those shows so they're gonna just combine the rosters for it.

It's more of the fact WWE is oddly protecting Cody Rhodes from getting roasted by Cena. The same promo the last two weeks, Cena says something to the fans, Cody comes out and says something to Cena, Cena leaves. I think Cody is one of the few who can hang with Cena on the mic so I don't know why they won't let them do a proper promo battle.

Is The Rock even going to be apart of the build up or the Mania match at all? Like they did the thing at the Chamber to advance the story and twist it into a new direction, now the guy who helped do that isn't apart of the build?

If Cena is serious and not just dumb joke-y I think they can put on a show. But this story needs more than "I talk, you talk." We NEED to hear more about why he went with Rock's offer, have him start doing **** behind the scenes that reveal his new-found status, etc. Just talking doesn't get it done.

WWEs newest ring announcer...Mark Nash (Mark Shunock from the boxing world, also the in arena host for the Vegas Golden Knights).

Don't know how he sounds, but hopefully he's a WWE fan at least or else we're about to get Mike Adamle like announcements.

The new ring announcer sounds like an in arena host, which is what he did, but to me he doesn't sound as good early on, maybe it's just because it's a different voice?

Others online so far seem to like him.

Chelsea's truly a heel (no pun intended), wearing heels in a segment with Zelina

I liked that moment near the end where they went from showing Priest slamming McIntyre through the windshield, then cut away to seeing CM Punk walking in to the arena as the contract signing is next, and while he's making his way in to the arena, he walk past McIntyre on the windshield from a different camera angle being shot.

It's little "connected worlds" production moments like that which add a lot.

Punk vs Rollins vs Reigns, confirmed WM main event! Reigns was great in that contract signing. Funny how much has changed where now calling Reigns the big dog sounds like a diss.

Rey Fenix next week on Smackdown.... in Chicago. Smart move, basically AEW's hometurf for how much they love going there so he'll get a great reaction.

I'm ready for Jacob's singles run.... he's the next mega star of the Samoan Dynasty. Speaking of which, damn why couldn't we have gotten this Naomi aligning with the Bloodline a few years ago. Would have been insane...

Ya well that match isn't gonna be the final match of night 2 nor should it.

Well, it should. If it had the title.

So all this main event jerkoffery is dumb.

Good show otherwise. New announcer guy was OK. Not ba or offensive so that's about all I can hope for.

I forgot Backlash is in St.Louis.

They're definitely going to do Orton vs Cody, especially after teasing it yesterday.
