2 hours and they still did a 5v5 chicks match with like 7 of them being completely worthless.

But ya, good show otherwise. Short show is great. I don't mind long shows but I don't think there's enough good content to require it. Especially with split rosters. Optimize it and make every show incredible.

I'm not used to seeing RAW be 2 hours lol. It is going to take me a while to get used to this again. You can tell they had to jam pack a lot of superstars on the RAW roster to be in this show. Like the 10 woman tag team match. And there were less segments of certain stables like the Judgment Day. They were limited this week. Speaking of Judgment Day, is Raquel the newest member of the group? Or is she just Liv's bodyguard? I always felt like Raquel was too big to be a babyface so her being a heel/bodyguard type for Liv works for me. She is the counter to Rhea who is super over.

Why was CM Punk thanking people in his promo? Does this mean he is going to be gone until his next big feud? I liked Seth coming out after him and letting everyone know that he still wants his match against Punk. The feud with Bronson Reed is a nice new feud for him to have for now. Jey Uso defeated Xavier Woods and it appears to me that Woods will turn heel eventually. But Bron Breakker coming out to spear Jey Uso makes no sense after he seemed to act like a babyface last week. Sheamaus/Pete Dunne was a great brawl. Nothing else to say about that. Although I think Dunne needs the win more. And obviously Gunther was going to beat Sami this time. This is going to be a filler feud with Cody at Crown Jewel right? They gonna get to freely appear on both shows until then? Whatever....

Networks have these things timed out, so I'm sure it was the usual amount of ads for a two hour show. People just don't like change so there's going to be some whining.

That's why I think it was fine. Breaks did feel shorter so people are probably overreacting.

Let's say a 2 hour show is 1 hour and 25 mins. That's 35 mins of ads (29.2% of the 2 hour runtime).

Raw at 3 hours is 2 hours and 5 minutes. That's 55 minutes of ads (30.6%). So a 3 hour show technically has MORE ads than a 2 hour show.

It would be awesome if it stays at 2 hours on Netflix.
Not that the current product isn't good enough for 3 hours but there is so much wrestling in other promotions that I'd like to at least casually watch. If both Raw and Smackdown went to 3 hours on Netflix it hurts the overall wrestling business in my opinion.
When Raw sucked a few years ago it was easy to skip 70% of it but now it's harder to skip bad parts so good for WWE but makes it a lot more to watch.

That's the other thing. If Raw is 3 hours AND Smackdown is 3 hours, you're easily risking your fans getting burnt out of watching the product. As hot as the product is today, the last thing you want to do is give fans a reason to tune out.

You could have 2 great shows a week, but being 6 hours combined would be overkill. There's a reason MLB wanted to cut games down from 3 hours to the almost 2.5 hr games we see now.

He's almost for sure gone until the Netflix debut.

They're gonna pack do much into that debut for sure. Cena, Rock, Punk returns in that show alone.

Lol, Jimmy holds his hand out the way Reigns does when he wants the mic and Roman just high fives him.

Jimmy pleads with Reigns that they need help, Reigns response is "No Yeet." His reaction to the thought of teaming with Jey is reminiscent of him getting involved with Rollins in any way.

Funny part, once Jimmy's music hits, one of the first parts that played was "Talk to them uce, they ain't listening" which is literally the reaction to his promo with Reigns.

The whole story needs the reunion though. It would make no sense if the wargames team is just randomly LA Knight or the street Profits or something.

Although....Wargames is in Vancouver. They barely got Jey over the border for MITB. They better hope there's no problems this time either.

Jimmy as a singles competitor I still think would be good too, he can be the more comedic of the two, he just never really got a shot since he was "Romans sidekick" who also took a backseat to the eventual Solo push.

But the best comparison I saw was the WWE Hardys (Jey being Jeff, Jimmy being Matt).

You could have one of the two really break out as a main event level singles star while the other can still have a decent singles career too, but no matter what, they're still best as a tag team.

That's how I feel Ford/Dawkins could/should be too, but for some reason they've never given Ford the shot as a singles star when he literally has everything you could want in a talent (look, in ring ability, mic skills, connection with the crowd). I'd still always love them together as the street Profits (and I don't see Dawkins being notable if they split), but Ford could easily be a breakout star like we saw with Jey or Jeff Hardy.

Liv Morgan and Carlito are officially members of the Judgment Day longer than Edge was.

It's crazy to think the Edge version of the group was the worst version.

I think last night and Bad Blood was showing signs that Reigns character is changing a bit.

Jimmy convinced Reigns to help Cody after the match, something he'd never have thought of doing before.

And then on SD Roman with the "Acknowledge HIM (no, not Melo)" showing he's starting to give credit to others too. The Bloodline isn't just Roman with others. It's Roman AND Jimmy & Jey (with Heyman).

At least they're "trying" to make it look like the tag titles aren't defended much because of the Judgment Day.

Though don't know how the solution to them not defending it is to wait a few more weeks until a new challenger is determined...

The WAR Raiders returned! Glad they finally got that name back. Viking Raiders was a decent compromise from the whole Viking Experience fiasco, but War Raiders sounds so much cooler.

So on RAW we had two references to Brock by two of WWE's top guys in Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins. Cody told Gunther he's already defeated a Beast while Seth said he has conquered Kings and slayed beasts.

Brock coming back at the Royal Rumble or before that?

Brock's coming back to win the SA title then leave for a year. That's the one title nobody will mind him holding and never showing up with.

But it sucks realizing he really seemed to hit his stride the last few years ever since he embraced "cowboy/Viking Lesnar" and had people who didn't like him or were tired of him all liking him now. Then everyone finds out about those allegations and it erases almost everything about him.

Who knows if/when that whole thing will be fully resolved, or if they do bring Lesnar back if TKO try just being like "it wasn't Brock, it was all Vince" even though Brock was one of the people referenced.
