This makes no sense to me. Only thing I can think is someone like Jey in the finals against Cody or Sami or something, so there's a slight chance the Bloodline could just take that title too and keep it hostage on SD, which gains more support for the Raw guy who beats him.
I like Triple H as head of creative and think the direction of the company with him at the helm is much better off than what it was, but this whole title situation has been the most nonsensical thing in the world.

I try to be patient more often than not and let things play out because storytelling is an art and you aren't supposed to know why everything is happening immediately all the time no matter how much people bitch about some things. I just don't quite grasp the logic currently of keep both titles on Roman, just to create a new title that's supposed to be exclusive to Raw, that starts a tournament to crown after the draft rosters take effect, that will have superstars from both brands in.

It feels like they were just hellbent on having the draft the same weekend the NFL was having their draft when realistically they probably should have had the tournament for this title (if creating a title just had to be the route they go) start the week that they held the draft on, had the finals still at Night of Champions and then start the draft the Friday after Night of Champions and then you move the champion to Raw. Doing it this way just muddles things for absolutely no reason and basically devalues your draft you just had if a Smackdown guy wins the title, just to get moved to Raw because the title is supposed to be exclusive to them.

That's the thing that confuses me too! If it's a Raw title, there's no need to overcomplicate this. Only Raw superstars should be eligible for the Raw title.

On the topic of the draft, I wish they would just do it on the first week after Wrestlemania because personally, it makes me not care as much about what's going on because more than likely when it comes to titles and stuff, those won't change because the champions are retaining at the first PLE after. Start of a "new season" should ideally be a total reset.

It's all been an unnecessary, confusing mess. And it has definitely made me less interested post - Wrestlemania (plus all the "reports" and rumors about Vince being back in charge), but I'm hopeful they can clear both title pictures up soon.

And I understand USA network needing a championship too, but they should've just had Drew (at Clash) or Cody (at 'Mania) take the WWE title off him.

Anyway, that is my sour grapes coming out - since I like both guys - continuing to bitch about this overbooked/mess title picture.

On a brighter note: These international crowds are just awesome. America being the hub for 2 major companies dilutes the excitement from US crowds (most nights), but these international crowds are like a hungry dog salivating at a piece of meat.

I thought the draft goes in to affect Monday, why is there a women’s tag title match on smackdown next week when the champions got drafted to Raw?

Women's Tag champs can go from show to show.

I wouldn't say having 2 companies dilutes the crowds, but going to the same cities multiple times a year can dilute their excitement.

International crowds have always been great. Santinos debut in Italy for instance, the crowd made that moment so much more special

Bad Bunny putting on that LWO shirt at the end of Smackdown.... that money will be rolling in for those shirts. That pop when Bad Bunny came out though... it blew me away. Bad Bunny got a bigger pop than most superstars in that locker room, these international fans really make the show better.

I couldn't figure out a way to word what I wanted to say (without being long-winded). Essentially, having two major companies touring on US soil dilutes the experience and thus makes excited crowds (like in England and Puerto Rico) rare.

I was thoroughly sports entertained by that show. Except the part with Liv. I despised every second of that.

Every single one of the ****ing garbage shows that the company has scheduled for Saudi Arabia nonsense should be moved to Puerto Rico.

What a great crowd. And it helped an otherwise-whatever show immensely.

Hope they're as live for the PPV tomorrow.

Side-stepping the landmine that is Saudi Arabia politically, the crowds there have been increasingly better & better.

Unless things begin to go south between the US & SA, then I could easily see the deal being extended further.
