    AEW All Out (9/4/22)

Honestly, the card-shaped up better than I thought it would considering how the build toward the PPV looked just a month ago.

(Yes, I didn't feel like typing out the whole match card, so I spent more time making a graphic. Made sense to me.)

11 matches on the main card.

This shows going 5 hours isn't it?

Yep. Always goes 5 hours. Only ROH PPV's are 4 hours.

I’m sure I’d be psyched if I cared about more than maybe 4 matches here, but when you see them laid out in the pic it just seems like way too much on one show.

More reason why AEW needs to just get a brand split going.

You have so many people and titles, you're really gonna try fitting all that into a 2 hour weekly show and 5 hour PPV? PPVs feel rushed too. The second a fall happens it's like "What an amazing matc...and now it's time for our next match!".

I think they'd be better off with 2 brands, 4 main PPVs, and then 2 branded PPVs (January and July seem like good times to do it).

Easier solution - not everyone has to be on the show.

Then again, I’m not buying this show and will only keep up with it by checking Twitter every so often, so my opinion doesn’t really matter here.

I think that is the goal with ROH to act as a different brand under the AEW umbrella...but that's not going to work if Tony can't secure a TV deal for them.

                  Re: AEW All Out (9/4/22)

I just really hate brand splits, I really hope AEW doesn't ever do it(I also hope WWE ceases theirs, but understand they most likely won't). I also understand I'm in the minority but PPVs being 3-5 hours is fine with me. 6 hours is where I wish it was two separate events, and under 3 hours always comes off as a "TV Special" style show.

Anyway, I've already stated my excitement for this show and it definitely remains, build for a lot of the show is questionable, but is phenomenal for some matches as well, and the stories I've invested myself in are set to start the pay-off or finish the payoff.

Also, if the users here want, I've made this for my friend group for every PPV so far, so if you wanna fill it out feel free. It's mostly meant for fun, though whomever is the leader in predictions gets to hold the belt during wrestling when we're gathered to watch live.

I forgot how good Kip is in the ring.

And he’s talking to the box…interesting.

I understand the concept of the Casino Ladder Match ending at anytime before the rest of the participants get in the match. The problem is we don't know who the Joker is so it takes away from the match ending at anytime knowing it won't end until after the Joker reveal.

WTF was that finish. Im all for the Joker being a mysterious Superstar who doesn't reveal himself but that was totally lame how they did it. They should have let the Joker wrestle a bit before Stokley and his group came out to help him win. Not a good way to start your biggest show of the year.

This match is making up for that ladder match.

Can't have the masked joker wrestle. It'll be too obvious it is MJF.
