Wow, the Dodgers are having a rough season. Are you going to hit the free agent market at the end of the season or do you already have a multi-year deal?

Los Angeles Dodgers (Ryan) @ Chicago Cubs (Gallardo)

Gallardo and I are throwing goose eggs for the first 3 innings and then by some major miracle, my offense puts 7 runs on the board. I am finally touched up for a couple of runs in the 6th but I finish my day going 8.0 innings, scattering 9 hits, and striking out 5 as we win the game, 7-2.

Milwaukee (Dave Bush) @ Los Angeles (Nolan Ryan)

(yes, I too have dropped the first name)

Ever have one of those days? This was one of them for me. Among the 8 hits in only 5 innings of work, was a 2-run blast by Prince Fielder that probably hasn't come down yet. A splitter that didn't split was the cause of that air flight that also had time to show a movie. I did strike out five tonight, including career #500 in the 4th. I'm hoping that this is out of my system by the next start.

Los Angeles (Nolan Ryan) @ Colorado (Franklin Morales)

This was more like it as we start our road trip in Coors Field. I struck out the side in the bottom of the 1st to start my latest taking of the mound. We were finally able to scratch out a run in the top of the 5th and I was pulled with one out and one on in the bottom of the 7th of a 1-0 game. I only allowed 4 hits and struck out nine. I lost my perfect game bid in the bottom of the 4th as I gave up a lead off double but stranded him on the bases. We ended up scratching out another run in the 9th and the Dodgers win, for a change, 2-0.

At this present time, I would have to say no. I can't afford to pick up any new video sports games. I have to make sure that my rent gets paid first and also that my heat is not disconnected.

Thank god the end of the roller coaster season is coming to a close. I got shelled by one of the top offenses in the NL, the Padres. I gave up 2 runs on 4 hits in the 1st, a 3-run bomb to Matt Kemp in the 2nd, a solo shot by Adrian Gonzalez to open the bottom of the 5th and my night is done. I was pulled with the score 7-3 San Diego and the Dodgers lost, 8-4.

Will the real LNR please stand up!!! I feel like a guy named "Pete", sometimes I pitch like "Pete" Alexander and other times like Peter Pan!! Brandon Webb and I went toe-to-toe in a classic pitchers duel as the game was scoreless until we plated 3 runs in the top of the 9th. I came back out and finished the 3-hit shutout by punching out the last hitter of the game, my 8th of the game. I was named player of the game for the effort, my best all season.

You know what they say about payback, right? I gave up a 2-run moon shot to #16 in the 1st inning before settling down and shutting down the D-backs. I am lifted for a pinch hitter in the last of the 7th with the score 3-0 Arizona. We scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th then our bullpen imploded as the D-backs scored 6 times in the top of the 8th and won the game, 9-3. Hooray!!!! The season is over!!!!
