Yeah the F for control really is puzzling, haha, but hey, keep up the good pitching!

      6/16/13

We continue our interleague schedule with a series on the road in Detroit to take on the Tigers. I served up a solo shot to Cabrera in the 4th, his 300th home run of his career, and a solo blast by Granderson in the bottom of the 8th to break a 3-3 tie. Right after the shot by Granderson to start the bottom of the 8th, I was pulled for a reliever and I took the loss as the Tigers went on to win the game, 4-3.

The Cleveland Indians are in town as interleague play continues and I take the mound. I go 8 innings spreading out 5 hits, including a solo blast by Metcalf in the 6th, and I was 3-3 at the plate with a key sac bunt in the 5-run 8th and drove in a run. Thanks to the 5-run 8th, we won the game, 7-3, and I was named the player of the game for my performance on the mound and at the plate.

I have MLB 07 the show for the PS2, and this is really making me want to put it in and play it for this mode. Does anyone know if the RTTS mode in 07 is as good as 08?

I don't think that it's changed, so I would say yes.

The "F" grade for control is more than likely due to me having a very low BB/9 attribute. Except for that one time when it was part of my goals, I haven't touched any control training.

The manager called me into his office today and told me that the goal period ended and it was a strong showing. I had made 5 out of the 6 goals.

Here are the goals for the next period, which is 6 series:

                  1. Increase stamina
                  2. Increase h/9
                  3. Increase durability
                  4. Have a WHIP lower than 1.000
                  5. Have at least 24.0 innings pitched
                  6. Allow 20 hits or less

The Texas Rangers are in town for our last interleague series as my turn comes to take the mound. We get to the Rangers' starter, Kameron Loe, early as the "Blue Crew" scores 1 run in the bottom of the 1st and 2 more in the bottom of the 2nd. I allow only 1 run as I scatter 7 hits and leave for a reliever with 2 outs in the top of the 7th and a man on 1st. The Dodgers won the game, 3-1, giving me my 6th win of the season and second straight.

It's only availiable for PS2, PS3, and PSP because sony makes the games, the S in SCEA stands for sony. So, their not going to make a game for any other systems other than playstations.

We are off on our road trip as we head to Milwaukee to face the Brewers.

The offense jumps out and gives me an early lead as they score 2 runs in the top of the 1st. From there on, it's nothing but zeroes as far as I go as I totally shut down the Brew Crew. I only allow 6 hits through the first seven innings but the Brewers finally get to me and I am roughed up in the 8th as Milwaukee scores a pair of runs. The manager tells me that I am done for the day as I walk into the dugout after the inning. The Dodgers went on to win the game easily, 6-2.
