I'd say at the latest he cracks the bigs in 2014. But that's a total ballpark, shot in the dark.
Go check Webb's stats vs. Bonderman's.

What I'm doing is boosting Webb after every outing without a run scored on him. After age 31, players begin to regress, not progress, so I have to do it manually.

Who cares about what they did to this point in their careers? They're both having comebacks so how they perform in our chises will determine the victor!

Webb is pitching 4 innings of 1 run ball vs DETROIT . Should be a goose egg, but Arencibia flat out missed a tag on Cabrera at home, so I Arencibia, LOL.

Hahaha actually I think I have some stuff to post. Idk when it will be out but I do have stuff, and I've decided to go back to my play 1, sim 5 style of play as the amount of games I was playing was just overwhelming lol. But I was taking a nice little break to play White Knight Chronicles 2 (if anyone knows anything about that) for my JRPG fix this month.

Anywho, I should have at least 1 update out today, anything more is a maybe as I have softball tonight and I don't wanna rush anything out.

Take your time and don't get burned out. Play 1 Sim 5 is a great method.

Re: Holdin' Onto Hope Part 2: Cranes, Trains, and Auto-Explosions (The Show 12)

After our series finale against the Cardinals that we highlighted, we took to Philly to play our least favorite NL East team (other than those Ozzie Guillen led, 102 win F'ing Marlins from last year of course, they pissed us off a lot.) Regardless, Cliff Lee versus Lucas Harrell in a "marquis" match-up of "ace" pitchers. Milk Carton actually outpitched the '08 Cy Young winner, going 7 innings of 2 run ball with 8 Ks. While Lee was bounced after 5 innings of 3 run ball. However, the pen let us down with a disappointing 5-4 l0oss as Wilton Lopez blew the game by allowing a 2-R walkoff HR to Juan "Human Hacking Machine" Uribe of all people.

Which brings us to today, Phils versus 'Stros in the middle game of the series.

Jordan Lyles takes the bump for us to face Vance Worley in a match-up of young, promising arms. The Phillies would strike first on a John Mayberry Jr. 2 RBI triple making it 3-1 Phils in the 4th inning. Checkout the ballgame Mr. Mayberry had

Mayberry? More like MVP-Berry...by god that's a ballgame for a guy who only hit .178 last season.

JD would bring us a little closer though as he would hit a solo jack with 2 outs in the 5th to bring it to 4-2. Checkout the distance on that shot from JD.

I mean, what else is there to say about that? It was a flat-out bomb and it was big too, as we inched closer in this ballgame. Lyles would leave after the 5th inning, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits and striking out 6 batters. A decent start, not quite what we were looking for though. Worley pitched 8 strong before departing for Papelbon in the 9th.

Back to the action, bottom of the 9th inning and we trail 4-2. Matt Dominguez got a HR robbed from him for out #1 and in steps Alex Gonzalez. He decided "What the Hell" and was first pitch swinging for the fences, and holy chit...he goes yard.

Now we've got a ballgame boys! Hell to the yeah!! That was a bomb to straight away center too...have the boys been eating their Wheaties or something? Man, what an improvement over the dead last finish in HRs last year! Papelbon would scuffle a bit, but get the job done by punching out pinch hitter Travis Buck with the bases loaded to notch up his 3rd save of the season.

Oh well, you can't win em all right? And that seems to be the theme of this season. We hang close with tough teams and then can't get over the hump...maybe that's a sign of a team maturing. We may be getting better, but we aren't quite "there" just yet. But this is a good start for us considering last season's failures. We would drop the next game and head for Colorado with our heads hung low. We just got swept by the Phillies

The mysterious warehouse yard was filled with soldiers and mercs galore. It was dark outside, and Sergei Nikolav was on a mission...something that had to be investigated before he could continue his work. Sergei looked to his left, then to his right, and finally back to the left again. After feeling comfortable with his safety, he beckons a mysterious figure over to him. The two hide behind the wall closest to them and signal silently on their next move. Nikolav silently approaches the guard next to the door of Warehouse 119 and knocks him unconscious with a blunt blow to the back of the head. The two men enter the door prepared for anything. But what they found still managed to make their jaws drop.

After being swept away by Philly, we headed into the Mile High City to face off with the Rockies. Sadly, our offense of all things decided to not show up at all as we scored a TOTAL of 7 runs in the 3 games in this series. I had a great image/game that Bud Norris pitched, but the images were lost...so I really don't want to do an in-depth update on a game without pictures. So I won't, bottom line is this: Norris allows 1 unearned run and loses the game 1-0 because Mr. Cy Young himself (Jeremy Guthrie for those who weren't here for season one) is apparently the second coming of Roger Clemens.

And we also lost the next two games as well, hurray sweeps! At least we can take solace in the fact that Bud Norris still has a 0.00 ERA after 20 innings of work this season, and that he's struck out more than a batter per inning. He's looked like a completely different pitcher, sadly we can't score a run for him...but whatever. Anywho, after taking 1 game in Arizona (here we go again, stupid desert) behind more weak offense. Don't believe me? We have scored 8 runs in our last 8 games, we've been shutout
3 times and lost 3 1-0 games (no I'm not kidding.) That's Bad News Bears bad, we need to get Billy Bob Thornton and his movie daughter to come save our team ASAP. Throws like a girl my ***, that chick could hurl it.

Sorry, that's beside the point. Back to our game here as we headed back home to face the defending champion Reds who've gotten off to a solid start again.

10-6 and we're 6-10? I guess things aren't QUITE as bad as I make them out to be. Technically, we're 4 games out of first place which isn't out of any race and things are going to get better when our lineup starts hitting a little more. We'd send Kyle Weiland to the mound to face a red hot Mat Latos. Kyle got hammered in his last start, raising his ERA into the stratosphere...don't believe me? Check this chit out.

Ouch. Well maybe he'd do something worthwhile in this game. Not maybe, he would do something...we hope. Top of the 8th inning is where we pick this up as its when things got interesting. Both pitchers had been shutting the other offense out, to the tone of a 0-0 tie. Weiland gets 2 outs in the inning and in steps the 7 hitter who hits a slow roller to 3rd base. Dominguez barehands it and fires to first base...but alas he was safe. No biggie though, a man on with 2 outs . Next batter hits one sharply to 1st, and CJ lets it hit off his glove and carom into right field. E4 and now we may have a problem. But hey, Mat Latos steps in with 2 outs and 2 men on, we got this.

Maybe not. Latos laces one down the right field line for a 2 RBI double. Chit. Another great start is about to be squandered because in strides Chapman in the 9th.

We got to him! CJ lined an RBI double down the line to bring home Maxwell who was hit by a 100mph fastball in the knee (and he didn't even rub it...like a boss.) JD would single home the tying run and onto extras we went. Chapman blew his first save of the year and we felt good. On to the 11th, Rhiner Cruz is on in relief and he runs into a bit of trouble by allowing back to back singles to lead off the inning. After a fielder's choice and a punchout, he would walk Votto (because the dude is unbelievable against us) and pitch to Chris Heisey. 3-2 count, Cruz winds up...the pitch!

He punched him out. Hell yeah, suck on that "Chris"

Cruz led off the next inning and we yanked him for pinch-hitter Ryan Theriot to face Sean Marshall. Marshall threw a beautiful 2-1 fastball on the black that Ryan hit hard right at Stubbs in center, easy play right?

Oh he missed it? Run Ryan Run!!!! After he stopped, the game was over. That's right...a walk-off inside the parker. How many times has that happened?

Weiland's line after his solid outing:

Good start guys, hell of a win...and it looks like good ol' Mo may be coming around to Houston. As evidenced by us sweeping the first place Reds right off the planet.

After the Reds left town crying to their mommy, we headed for greener pastures in Dodgerland. We lost games 1 and 2 to LA, now we head into the finale with a pitching matchup worth watching (not really.) Here's the stats for both teams so far this year.

Wow, 4th in the league in ERA? That's pretty solid for a team that finished 27th in that category last season and had arguably the worst staff in all of baseball, and LA is right there with us. This has been a well-pitched series and here's to hoping we continue to toss the ball well.

Alrighty then, LA takes the mound first in this one. Check out Jonathan Sanchez's numbers early on. Impressive doesn't even begin to describe how big his turnaround has been thus far.

He's starting to look like the pitcher the Giants had a couple years ago, maybe its the change of scenery...hell maybe its that Sanchez likes pitching in Hollywood, who knows. Regardless, he had our number all day long. We couldn't get jack squat going and it bit us as Mr. Milk Carton himself took the hill for us. And he decided to pull a Jordan Lyles and allow 4 runs over 5 innings, which was more than enough for a dealing Sanchez. He had us no-hit through 3 innings and lost his perfect game, no-hitter, and shutout on one pitch. Who hit it you may ask?

Jose Altuve...what? For real? That's a joke right? Oh no, no jokes here my friends. It doesn't say this on there, but he hit that ball about 420 feet. Pretty impressive for a guy who may not be tall enough to ride some roller-coasters right? Ehh whatever, you guys are no fun. Anywho, there wasn't much else of interest in this game as we took the L with a final of 4-2. We got a late run off closer Jansen but nothing really materialized for us. Harrell takes the loss and Sanchez pitched 8 strong before yielding to the pen to pick up his 4th win of the season.

*Sigh* Lose, lose, lose. All we do is lose. Can't we win a G-D ballgame? Oh we can't? That makes a lot of sense actually. Forget I said anything then.
