I'm a little late on this but that CarGo trade you pulled off was awesome! He's locked up for the next 5 or 6 years and he is still relatively young. Great fit for your team.
I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Anyways, he's having a pretty good season so far...something around a .270 average and he's got 23 steals I think. The Jays are playing well and could very well win the division or at the least a wild card spot. I won't be able to play the all-star game today. But I'm sure that will get done Sunday/Monday and we'll get back to the season.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Craig and Jeff had been doing a lot of digging since their last meeting with Brandon at the beginning of the year. Brandon was busy with his job and they hadn't been able to meet with him since because of it. Not like they'd found anything anyways, Mark was one hard guy to track down...especially when he didn't want to be found. They figured with All-Star Weekend going on and all, things would be calmed down and perhaps something would come up that would help them in finding Mark.
As of now though, they had nothing...they were watching the Home Run Derby on TV and enjoying the joke of an event unfold. As Jeff stood up to grab the popcorn from the microwave, Craig's phone rang.

Why?Originally posted by Brandon GillespieYeah he did...and I don't know. When I went down there to claim it, I was the only one there and the attorney completed the transfer and all that stuff. What's all really peculiar about all this is that Jim left me precisely the amount that the Astros are worth. And some sort of a message about "The night being darkest before the dawn"? It was all very confusing and I don't know what to think.Originally posted by Craig BiggioHold on a minute...I think I know exactly what's going on here. Jim wants you to buy controlling stake of the Astros...and I have a feeling he may have told Jeff what to do here as well. Maybe Jim did leave us a secret weapon against Mark after all.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: Holdin' Onto Hope Part 2: Cranes, Trains, and Auto-Explosions (The Show 12)
The All-Star Game...an exhibition that has been given new life by the commissioner himself. A game filled with stars, with the best players in the game year in and out. Ahhh, I love All-Star weekend. Its good fun and ya know what? It's gonna be an enjoyable experience to sit back and watch our guys do work this year. We'll be going for 4 years straight as the NL squad, and there's definitely some storylines coming into the game today. However because I'm incredibly lazy and the fact of the matter is that this game is filled with screen-worthy moments, there will be a bare minimum of game screens posted. Mainly a Houston focus of course, unless a non-Houston player does something amazing that is. Simply because if I captured EVERY moment that was worthy, it would be a 10 page post. With that disclaimer being made known I'd like to welcome you to Chase Field here in Arizona on a beautiful night.
It is a nice night, and we'd be in for a nice game...that's for sure.
There's the AL starting lineup that will get to face the NL's best pitcher in the first half...
Ian Kennedy. As much as it pains me to say that, Kennedy has been every bit as good as Bud...and then better as well. He deserved the nod in this game more than any other pitcher in the NL and I'd have to be a blatant homer to not see that. But don't worry, Bud would have his moment too. Kennedy would go 2 innings of one-hit baseball...sadly for him the one hit ended like this
With Ben Zobrist trotting around the bases: 1-0 Junior Circuit.
And here's your NL Starting lineup
Which gets to face this MAN
Yeah, CC Sabathia. That dude is about as much of a man as there is in baseball now. He also would pitch a good game with 2 shutout innings. He would give way to Justin Verlander who would surrender a base hit to Ryan Braun. Braun would be lifted for my guy.
Carlos Gonzalez, the newly acquired Astro would pinch run for Braun and proceed to steal 2nd and 3rd. He would then score on a groundout from Matt Kemp to tie the game at 1's. The score would remain there until the next time through the lineup when Ian Stewart hit a pinch hit 3R HR, seen here.
Which gives us a 4-2 lead. And that lead would hold up for our guy to come pitch with the lead.
Bud pitched a solid inning of relief and tallied 2Ks in the game. But the story didn't end there in this game (sadly.) The NL would watch Broxton blow a save with 2 outs in the 9th by allowing Adam Jones to hit a 2R HR to tie it at 4. And the score would remain there until the 13th when Ben Zobrist would go yard yet again.
Sigh...
Yeah, that's about the sum of things for us. The NL would fall in this one, 6-4.
The Astros may not have gotten a win for the NL, but their representatives played well in the game. CarGo was 2-4 with a triple and 3 steals while Bud pitched an inning with 2Ks and no hits allowed. The Astros come home to face the Milwaukee Brewers in a three game set to start off the 2nd half of the season. Get pumped!

Re: Holdin' Onto Hope Part 2: Cranes, Trains, and Auto-Explosions (The Show 12)
And we are back here in Houston, Texas with the finale in this three game set between the Brewers and Astros. Houston took the first two games behind their two aces in Norris and Bonderman and now look to sweep division rival Milwaukee and take sole possession of the wild card lead with the Dodgers losing today. Houston sends Kyle Weiland to the hill to face off with Shawn Marcum in a game that Houston wants to win desperately. We send you off to Houston now to get this one rolling, enjoy day baseball in Houston folks.
Here we go. The lineups for today's ballgame are below this very comment.
Milwaukee has MVP man himself, Mr Ryan Braun right in the thick of this talented offensive club. He won it in 2011, won it again in 2012, and now he's campaigning to win it three consecutive times with a solid 2013 season going for him once again. It would be Mr. Weiland's job to shut them down for Houston if they wanted any shot at this one. But of course, right off the bat he gives up a 2R jack to Aramis Ramirez making it 2-0 in the first inning.
But this is the highlight of the game for the Astros, and it really is the only other screen grab I got in this one. But boy oh boy did Pena work it.
See the ball right next to the "Martinez" on the scoreboard? Well so did everyone else as Pena blasted a 3R, 500 foot HR off Marcum to cap off a 5 run 3rd inning for Houston. Sadly the distance disappeared before I could snag a solid pic of it, but you'll just have to believe this announcer when I tell you it was the furthest ball I've ever seen hit at MMP, or anywhere for that matter. Altuve and CarGo had RBI doubles in that inning as well to account for the other two runs.
Milwaukee would chip away at Weiland, getting to Kyle for 4 runs over 6 innings, but he would earn the victory with the pen locking things down to earn the tough 5-4 victory and the consequential sweep of the Crew.
And with that, we now lead the Wild Card by 1 game over the hated LA Dodgers.
