Well tbf his coaching strats would probably win him 20 Grey Cups over there, haha.

Sorry to see that you guys are still struggling in Year 2 but I think you'll have more fun trying out the new additions. Ahmed, Biddle, Escobar, Bradley, and Pollock should all be pretty nice building blocks.

Nice pick up from Arizona with Bradley. One of my favorite mid-season call ups I had in my off line D-Backs franchise. Didn't do bad either and he was a great trade chip (to the Marlins actually). Good luck with the rest of your season!

Not the greatest start but I have a feeling you will turn it around!

Escobar's been a disappointment, but the rest of them I'm fine with. Ahmed can't hit but is a nice defensive fill in until JP Crawford is ready.

Thanks! Hopefully we'll see him called up by the all star break I'm excited to use him when the time comes.

Probably not, but I appreciate the encouragement. We're still at least a full year away for building this into wild card contention.

            2015 Series #7:

            (6-13) vs.
            (10-8)

Game 1: Bronson Arroyo picked up his first win in a Philadelphia uniform, and has now strung a couple good starts together. Arroyo allowed ten hits, but just two runs as he pitched into the seventh. AJ Pollock continues to crush the ball, going 3/5 with two doubles.

Game 2: Congratulations to Cliff Lee on reaching a great milestone. Lee earned the 150th win of his career today, in a way that we aren't used to seeing him succeed. Lee induced 17 ground ball outs today, and struck out only one Cardinal. He was terrific, however, allowing just a run in 7.1 innings. Pollock added his first home run since arriving, an insurance blast to give the Phillies a 5-1 lead in the ninth.

Game 3: The Phillies looked poised to extend their winning streak to five games, and started the third game of the series by building a 2-0 lead heading into the fifth. Starter Jesse Biddle unraveled some in the bottom of the frame, as the Cardinals dinked and dunked their way to three runs and the lead. With elite closer Trevor Rosenthal in the game to close it out, Domonic Brown tied the game with an RBI triple. The tie didn't last long, and the first batter Jose Valverde saw in the home half ended things quickly. Randall Grichuk hit a long drive deep to left that rang off the foul poul, signaling victory for St. Louis.

Game 4: This is a game Jason Hammel would like to have back. The first seven Cardinals reached base, and even when Hammel forced the first two outs on a Brendon Ryan double play, another run would score. With a 6-0 lead, the Cards coasted to even up the series.

                  2015 Series #8:

                  (8-15) vs.
                  (7-15)

Game 1: The Curse of South Beach has finally lifted, thanks to a comeback win by the Phillies against the woeful Marlins. A team they seemingly never beat, Miami had a 4-0 lead midway through this one. With the lead cut to 4-3, Maikel Franco served a go ahead two run double to the gap. Philadelphia would score two more in the inning and won the game 7-4.

Game 2: Now 6-2 over their last eight games, could the Phillies be making a turnaround? Maikel Franco delivered again, with another two run double. Neither team could get much offense going, and the Phillies connected just three times all game. Bronson Arroyo was terrific again, and now has just one walk in thirty innings.

Game 3: Miami was able to avoid the sweep here, scoring six times after the seventh inning. Cliff Lee was on cruise control for the most part, until Donovan Solano blooped a bases clearing triple in the seventh. The Phillies hit thirteen singles on the day, but did not record an extra base hit. Ken Giles picks up the loss, allowing the game winning home run to Chris Young.

                    2015 Series #9:

                    (10-16) vs.
                    (14-11)

Game 1: Jesse Biddle and Kris Medlen were both terrific to open the series between the Phillies and Braves. Biddle missed on two pitches all night, and because of this, falls to 1-3 this season. Freddie Freeman hit a changeup that was up in the zone out of the park in what would be the deciding run.

Game 2: Philadelphia exploded today against one of the best pitchers in the majors, Julio Teheran. Teheran was lifted in the middle of the third inning, having allowed eight runs to score. Pitcher Jason Hammel helped his own cause with a three run double. AJ Pollock also drove in three runs on the day, and Ryan Howard hit his sixth homer of the year.

Game 3: Could this be the end of John Pettibone in the rotation. The righty lost a 4-1 lead thanks to a five run fifth by the Braves. Stephen Drew had two solo home runs in the game. Tommy La Stella, just called up from AAA, added one of his own. Pettibone's ERA now sits at 7.16 this season, and with Miguel Gonzalez sitting in the bullpen having not allowed a run, a change could come soon.

                      (17-11) vs.
                      (11-18)

Game 1: Bronson Arroyo continues to shock the city, improving his record to 3-2 on the season today. Arroyo threw seven scoreless innings, striking out five along the way. Marlon Byrd provided the offense, connecting for a two run home run in the fourth.

Game 2: Yunel Escobar provided some heroics today, going 4/5 at the plate with four RBI. Escobar hit his first home run as a Phillie, and then ended the game with a walkoff single in the tenth inning.

Game 3: Jesse Biddle fell back to earth today, getting clobbered for seven runs in just three innings. George Springer ended his slump, with two hits, two walks, a homer and four RBI. Miguel Gonzalez saw his scoreless streak to start the season come to an end, as he was hit just as hard. Jake Diekman remains the only pitcher with an ERA of zero, and he was just as dominant today with a two strikeout inning.

                        2015 Series #11:

                        (16-15) vs.
                        (13-19)

Game 1: The Phillies welcomed their in state rivals, the Pittsburgh Pirates to town for a four game series. The Phillies got to see Johnny Cueto for the first time in Black and Gold to open the series. Cueto has had some struggles to start the year, and fell to 2-4 today. He allowed nine hits and two runs on the day. Jason Hammel dazzled away some boos in his opposition. Hammel threw seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits and striking out seven. Despite an ERA of 5.40, Hammel improved to 3-3 in 2015.

Game 2: Similar to game one, today's game featured a new Pirate facing a struggling Phillie. Jameson Taillon entered todays start with a 2-0 record, but ran into trouble right away, allowing three first inning runs. He would settle down nicely, tossing five scoreless innings to close out his day. Jonathan Pettibone looks to be fighting hard to stay in the rotation, as he scattered six hits and two runs to pick up the win.

Game 3: Philadelphia won it's third straight today, with a nice power showing against Wandy Rodriguez. Maikel Franco, Ryan Howard and John Mayberry all homered, helping Bronson Arroyo get through his early inning struggles. Arroyo is now 4-2 with an ERA of just 2.49 on the season and was throwing his sinker about 82 MPH today.

Game 4: Pedro Alvarez committed a gigantic error with the bases loaded in the sixth, as he Buckner'd a Cliff Lee dribbler and allowed two to score. That would be all the runs Lee and the Philly bullpen would need, and the Pirates found themselves swept down the turnpike with four losses to show for it. The offense cannot compete while Andrew McCutcheon is out, and have a 2-11 record in May to show for it.

                        Game 1:

                          (18-16) vs.
                          (17-19)

Game 1: Red hot Melky Cabrera led the way as Arizona took out the Phillies 4-1 to open the series. Cabrera went 3/4 on the day and improved his average this season to .356. Cliff Pennington, not known for his bat, also contributed. The second baseman also had three hits, including some insurance with a two run homer in the ninth inning.

Game 2: Cole Hamels made his return to Philadelphia for the first time since the trade, and boy did he look sharp. Hamels improved to 5-1 in 2015, throwing eight strong innings. His ERA now sits at 1.38. Jason Hammel, on the other hand, ran into some issues. Hammels allowed six runs in the sixth, with Torii Hunter driving in half of that on a home run.

Game 3: Two sweeps in a row, this time not in the Phils favor. There were six home runs today, three apiece as the Diamondbacks edged out the Phillies 6-5. AJ Pollock and Maikel Franco went back to back in the third, and Chase Utley send a liner screaming into the right field bleachers to end the scoring in the sixth. Jon Pettibone may have seen his last start for a while, with his ERA jumping to 7.12. Miguel Gonzalez threw five solid innings of relief and looks to be the better option at this point.

Almost to .500! Keep up the good work.

I think this one is probably over. Having a baby has thrown everything out of whack. If I have the time to get the new show, it may be time to start over and hopefully the budget issues I had can be solved.
