Edwards banks in a layup on a fast break and Frederick drops in a hook and after Taylor hits a 3pter, Moritz and Channing trade hooks. Roy and Kabba trade layups then after Brophy nails a short turnaround jumper, Paul converts a 3-point play. Zuzak makes 1 of 2 free throws then Noonan and Zuzak put in layups on fast breaks to give Boise State the lead, 13-12, halfway through the first half. Frederick sinks a short turnaround jumper and after Brophy and Bragg trade 3pters, Channing makes 1 of 2 free throws. Brophy lays in a rebound then after Zuzak hits a jumper, Roy cans two free throws. Edwards buries a jumper and a 3pter and after Roy drains a runner, Brophy knocks down a short turnaround jumper. Rouse lays in a rebound then after Bragg and Brophy trade layups, Hamilton and Bragg bury 3pters inside the last minute of play to give the Broncos a nine point lead at the half. Utah Valley State's Brophy leads all scorers with 11 points and Bragg leads the Broncos with 8.

I thought that we had a great chance to compete in the WAC this season especially after the OOC part of the schedule. Unfortunately for us, New Mexico State, Utah State and Nevada have kicked it up a notch and that's why they, along with Louisiana Tech, are in the Mid-Major Top 25. The WAC, overall, is rated #14 RPI so the conference is pretty strong compared to most of the other conferences. I'm hoping that we could catch some kind of a roll the rest of the way so that we can make it to either of the postseason tournaments. First Half
Hamilton and Hacker trade a pair of free throws and after Kabba dunks home a rebound, Frederick sinks a hook. Hacker slams in a dunk then after Hamilton puts in a layup, Hacker hits a 3pter. Frederick makes two free throws and Rouse drops in a layup then after Newsom nails a 3pter and both Bragg and Newsom bank in layups, McDowell cans 1 of 2 free throws and a layup to pull San Jose State to within nine, 19-10, halfway through the opening half. Noonan sinks a jumper and after Moritz and Hacker trade layups, Wood and Hacker bury 3pters. Udeoji makes a layup and two free throws then after Udeoji nails a short turnaround jumper, Edwards drops in a layup. Hacker cans two free throws and after Edwards hits a 3pter, Caballero drains a jumper to tie the game. Zuzak banks in a layup then Hacker jams home a dunk at the buzzer to tie the game at the half. San Jose State's Hacker leads all scorers with 16 points and both Newsom and Edwards each have 5 points to lead the Broncos.
Second Half
Wood makes 1 of 2 free throws and after Moritz sinks a hook, Caballero lays in a rebound. Hacker and Edwards trade 3pters then after Lennon drops in a hook and Braun cans 1 of 2 free throws, Noonan puts in a layup. Frederick banks in a hook and after Hacker dunks in a rebound, Newsom and Lennon trade layups. Udeoji nails a 3pter then Caballero and Moritz trade hooks as the Spartans hold on for the win.

Clarke hits a 3pter on a fast break and McGrath dunks in a rebound then after Frederick and Noonan sink jumpers, McGrath slams in a dunk. Kabba banks in a runner and after Myaer nails a 3pter, Noonan banks in a couple of layups and buries a jumper. Caskill and Minor trade layups then McGrath swishes a hook to tie the game, 14-14, halfway through the opening period. Minor tips in a rebound and after Wesley drops in a hook, Moritz sinks a short turnaround jumper. Forney makes two free throws and McGrath banks in a layup then after Zuzak buries a 3pter, McGrath puts in a layup. Noonan cans a jumper on a fast break then after Forney nails a hook and Aguilar banks in a layup on a fast break, Mulligan and Noonan trade a pair of free throws. Clarke drains a runner and Mulligan puts in a layup and after Frederick banks in a short turnaround jumper, Noonan knocks down a 3pter to pull Boise State to within three at the half. Boise State's Noonan leads all scorers with 15 points and McGrath leads the Aggies with 11.
Second Half
Hamilton puts in a layup on a fast break and after Forney converts a 3-point play, Bragg drops in a layup.
