Lathan drains a 3pter and after Frederick nails a hook, Wright cans 1 of 2 free throws and Cuffle gets two free throws. Bragg sinks a short turnaround jumper then after Sato makes two free throws, Newsom banks in a layup to pull Boise State to within four, 29-25, halfway through the first half. Geez Lathan went off for La Tech but you survived good job.

Thanks.

It was a great struggle as Lathan scored 11 points in the last 10 minutes (17 for the 2nd half) and put LA Tech on his shoulders but Hamilton and Edwards each had 11 points in the second half to lead the way for us. The two starting freshmen, Frederick and Bragg, really came through for us down the stretch.

Edwards hits a 3pter and after Gilchrist buries a short turnaround jumper and Balkman drills a hook, Bragg cans 1 of 2 free throws. Dalgarn drops in a layup on a fast break then Blanchard drains a 3pter and Gilchrist knocks down a short turnaround jumper to give Nevada a three point lead, 17-14, halfway through the opening half. Dalgarn banks in a short jumper and after Johnson makes two free throws, Kabba and Edwards hit 3pters to give Boise State the lead. Moritz sinks a hook and Frederick nails a short turnaround jumper then after Gilchrist puts in a layup, Moritz nails a hook. Balkman cans a hook and Blanchard flips in a layup on a fast break then after Gilchrist drains two free throws and a hook, Hamilton banks in a short turnaround jumper. Grove knocks down two free throws then Gilchrist lays in a rebound to give Nevada the lead, 54-53, midway through the second half.
