On paper it builds up. At the end of the day, it's up to you. I personally don't use it as much because I just want to get started into the next game. When I started dynasty reporting a while ago, I would include a lot of detail because I had a lot more time than now.

Do what makes you happy, man - it's good work so far.

Thanks guys! It doesn't take too long to make, maybe 10 minutes? I like the pregame matchup as it gives the reader kind of anticipation of the game and you can kind of figure out what might happen during the game.

And what's up Cort it's been awhile!! And I checked out your video.. Good luck with Montana St!

              I like it.

However, don't do more than you have fun doing. If the pre-game stuff is too much "work" to have fun, then don't do it. You don't want to burn out from making long recaps and such.

That's one thing I did with my coaching legacy. My recaps have gradually grown more involved as I became comfortable with longer recaps.

Well I do have fun doing it and it only takes like 5 to 10 minutes to do so there really isn't a lot of hassle doing it. My favorite part is that it is the first thing I see before I actually scout the team so I get kind of sense of what I'm about to face. (yes i scout the teams )

                  Patriots outlast the Bears

12-22-11 - Fairfax, VA: Brown, who came into this off of a 10 point win to Monmouth, was disappointed again late in a game.

"I don't know what it is about us late in games, but we just can't close them out right now. Maybe it is because we are young" said Rogers.

Brown shot a stellar 51% from the field but had 13 turnovers. George Mason, however, was only 25-58 from the field but forcing turnovers and second chances won the game for them.

"Once again we got out-rebounded against a team that isn't much bigger than us" said a frustrated coach Rogers, "We need to fix that for the Notre Dame game next week."

One promising stat from today was that Christian Gore, Bears 2 guard, had 10 assists on the day.

"I was proud of our perimeter play by Joe Sharkey and Christian Gore today. They ran the offense well especially when Taylor Wright didn't play when he got in foul trouble" said Rogers, "Joe's defense on Andre Cornelius was really good today too. Joe has been playing well lately."

Joe Sharkey and coach Rogers will need the rest of the team to step up next week if they are to beat Notre Dame.

                  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Basketball Game Turns Into Dunk Contest

12-29-11 - Notre Dame, IN: From the tip-off, the game was a straight blowout. The Fighting Irish put the Bears into submission from the word go.

"I have no clue what happened today" said Rogers, "It looked as if all my players got coal for Christmas. Hardly anyone showed up tonight for my team and that is my fault. It is my responsibility to have my guys game ready and we weren't."

In all 3 aspects of the game: offense, defense, and rebounding; Brown was completely dominated. At the end of the first half Notre Dame had 4 times the amount of points as Brown. At the end of the game, the Irish out-rebounded Brown by 19. Notre Dame shot 44% from beyond the arc.

But what was most impressive about Notre Dame tonight was all dunks that were displayed. In 3 straight possessions, the Fighting Irish pulled off alley-oops (2 were in a half-court set). Tim Abromaitis had at least 3 dunks by himself.

"Well even if you didn't care about this game, you would have seen some awesome highlights" said a sarcastic Coach Rogers.

It looks like a race to first fired: cage or rogers. Although at least you have played a tough schedule.

Unfortunately that is not a race I wish I was in but oh well
