What are you using for sliders to give you this much of a challenge? I am just coaching, not playing. I am using the set from the only thread in the slider forum but then moved the difficulty to mop and it still seems the games are easier than they should be. I am using western illinois in the original rosters and just beat missouri a couple games ago and am sitting at 3 and 1

It's my own custom set. I'll pm them to you the next time I get on the 360.

I love the realism here. That's one of the things I regret looking back at my legacy. My sliders were way too easy at the beginning.

Of course, using coach mode helps. I wish I could get into coach mode.

I think you still can. Doesn't it ask if you want to coach the game in the same select menu as "play game", "simulate game", and what not? I feel like it does.

Yea coach mode isn't some specific setting or anything. I think what he's saying though is it's kinda late to start doing coach mode after like 40 seasons in his legacy which I completely I agree with him. It's hard to start playing games and switch to coach mode.

Yea this little convo is starting to get me itching to play again. I've been out of school for a week and haven't hardly touched my xbox (which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it )

hahahahaha I honestly started doing coach mode because I got bored of playing. It didn't have so much with my thumb skills because I like to think I'm good at the game (#7 online isn't bad is it?... Ok there are only like 20 people who still play the game online but still.....)

But coach mode just brings out a whole different kind of game for me. I just love the realism of it.

BROWN CONTINUES TO DISAPPOINT IN NON-CONFERENCE

12/14/12 - Providence, RI: Brown left the game against St. Francis (NY) shaking their heads in confusion. The Terriers got everything they wanted on offense and Brown struggled to keep up.

"There aren't any other words that fits tonight better than 'pathetic'" said Rogers, "We [the coaches] tried everything to get our players playing harder but nothing worked."

Once again, Brown found themselves getting out-hustled and out-rebounded.

"I understand that our bigs aren't the strongest in the NCAA but good lord it looked like we didn't try to get a rebound" exclaimed Rogers, "I have no clue what goes through their heads sometimes. It's really simple when you think about it: The other team shoots, you get your rear into another player, you go after the ball. We have students who attend an IVY League school and they can't understand that simple concept."

"And don't think that I'm being to harsh on these guys" added Rogers at the end of his press conference, "They have been playing absolutely awful basketball and they are embarrassing themselves and this school. They have earned this criticism."

BROWN HEAD COACH UNDER FIRE FOR COMMENTS, ACTIONS

12/15/12 - Providence, RI: The Brown Bears are a team that most consider irrelevant. Even in the Ivy League they are not seen as a contender. Currently the Bears are 1-7 and have shown no signs of improving.

And it's obvious their head coach, Colby Rogers is not happy about it. And coincidentally when the head coach is frustrated, so is his boss.

Mason Silverburger, athletic director of Brown University, has made it clear that Colby Rogers is on the hot seat.

"Recently coach Rogers has not represented the basketball team and this outstanding university the way it should" stated Silverburger.

Colby Rogers was quoted as saying his players were "pathetic" and "embarrassed themselves and their schools." Also, there have been rumors that Rogers has criticized his players during practice and the school in team meetings.

"Colby Rogers talks down to his players and never gives them a break. He constantly runs the kids down when normally coaches would try to motivate them and try to bring them up. He has even put his hands on the players and have pushed a couple of them. I've also heard that he said, 'As soon as I get a chance, I'm leaving this school behind. It's awful here. Everyone acts like such pricks.'"

The above quote is from an anonymous source who wishes not to have his name known.

When asked about the above quote, Rogers just said, "It's not true. It's not a secret that I work my players hard and lately I've been really pushing them, but I have never put my hands on them. Also, this school has been great to me and I will continue to put all my efforts into making this a great basketball team and so we can represent the university well."

Well finally a small school that is making some sort of news. Not that it matters anyways, they will find themselves competing for 7th place in the Ivy League and their coach will be back to coaching high school AAU kids. Nothing new, just this time, it's out for everyone to see.
