With the season about to start, I'm gonna have a press conference to really get things going for the season. Feel free to ask any questions for the press conference.

      Antoine Cole, BleacherReport.com

With a starting lineup consisting of just one senior and arguably four of the best five players on the team being freshman, how big of a factor will inexperience play this season?

Do you feel that this is the season that Brown needs to show improvement for you to keep your job?

How much of a factor will Jermaine Maclies be for Brown this season?

Coach what are the chances of Bozeman sliding into the starting lineup and have 2 7 foot Freshman playing next to each other for the next 4 years.

Also do you feel like Riddles lack of 3pt shooting will keep him from making a impact on the offensive end.

What does recruiting look like for next year. With 2 bigman and a solid guy playing the wing, I assume you will look at landing a PG who can dish the ball and a couple of 3pt bombers to compete at the SG spot?

I don't know if I can say "good season", but it was interesting, at least!

That recruiting class was good, though!

Yea it was definitely a disappointing year. And thanks! I couldn't believe I actually got a 4* after the season I just had.

With my wife dominating the TV watching the Olympics, I have been thinking how could I use my free time. I thought just maybe, I should make a comeback and start posting on the boards again. I havn't picked up NCAA13, so the past couple of mornings I have been messing around with a College Hoops Legacy.

Can't wait to see what you pull out of your hat this time around! Is it a closed legacy or another Boise one?

Always start out closed and dream that one day, I will be good enough or Boise will be bad enough to want me.

I downloaded the orginal 07-08 rosters and have been messing around with one. Just trying to decide how I want to go about posting my recaps and what not. I am sure I will be back on the boards sometime next week once things officially slow down at work. Then again. NCAA13 might peak my interest by then too. We will see.

However glad to see What Brown can do for me.

Well guys I'm leaving for my first year of college this Saturday and I'm not taking my 360 so this legacy is officially on hold. I'm not done with the legacy but it will be a while until I post again. I figured this is a good time to put it on hold since no games or the press conference has been posted.

I will still be active here on OS though

Re: What can Brown do for you? (CH2k8)

October 12, 2013 - Providence, RI: The first day of practice is over and Colby Rogers was surrounded by the local media. This was the first sighting of the elusive Bears coach who has stayed out the sight of cameras for most of the summer and beginning of fall.

"The assistants and I have been extremely busy this summer getting prepared for the season," said Rogers, "We are very excited for what this season has in store for our guys."

R: "So how was the first official practice with your guys."

"It was good. I thought we were productive and the guys came out with a lot of energy. There was a bit of rust to kick off but that is normal at this time of the year."

R: "Do you feel a lot of pressure to do well this year in order to keep your job?"

"I'd be lying to you if I said there wasn't some pressure. But I am not focused about all of that because of we do what needs to be done on and off the floor, the whole job situation will take care of itself."

R: With some of your best players arguably being freshmen, do you think that inexperience will play a big role in this season?

"I think early on it will just like any other young team. It would be naive to think that we will come out from day 1 and just kill it. But two years ago when I took the job, we had 3 freshmen starting, and we were a game away from winning the Ivy League.

R: Coach, do you think that we will see the two 7 footers side by side on the floor for the next 4 years?

"That is definitely an option. Us as coaches will decide if we think that it is to our benefit to put both Wheless and Bozeman on the floor at the same time. That idea is definitely not off the table."

R: What about Gabe Riddle? Do you think that his lack of shooting ability will keep him from making an impact offensively?

"Not really. Everyone will have a role on this team and just because one player's role is not to shoot, doesn't mean that they can't make some sort of impact."

R: What about Jermaine Maclies? Do you think that he can be a key part to this team?

"He definitely has the potential. He reminds me a little bit of Jeffery Taylor back when he first came on the scene at Vanderbilt. This whole team actually reminds me a bit of the 2008-09 Vanderbilt squad for the most part. And for what it's worth, Taylor was pretty good at his time there."

R: Could you expand on what you mean by the comparison to the Vanderbilt team?

"Well that team has a lot of similarities with us. For one they had two 7 footers in Ogilvy and Ezeli. And coincidentally, the same question was brought up about them playing together. Also, we have good wing players like they did with Taylor and Goulbourne. Also, both teams had a little difficulty from shooting from behind the arc. We have a few decent shooters, but we cannot rely on it if we want to win.

R: Now with getting a couple big guys and a solid wing player, will you look to get a good passing PG and maybe a couple 3 point specialists?

"Well it is definitely early but I have an idea what I want to do with our 3 scholarships. A point guard is not necessarily on our radar right now. I feel like both Ravello and Sharkey are more than capable at the position. I am looking to find a couple guys at the Forward position and maybe a shooter. The problem is that I don't have unlimited resources and I can't just recruit to tailor to exactly what I want, but we do have some ideas in place."
