Boot Life- New Orleans Pelicans (MyGM PS4)

The New Orleans Pelicans have hired a new GM for the 2013-2014 season. Mike a native Louisiana guy is coming in to try and turn around this franchise and make them into winners.

His first order of busniess was to get rid of Eric Gordon which he did in a big trade with the Bobcats..He was able to acquire MKG and Henderson. Here is a look at the starting line up

The Pelicans are on a 4 game losing streak with an upcoming game @Boston hopefully we can get things turned around with Holiday and MKG out for the next couple of weeks

We are here with Pelicans Power Forward Anthony Davis to see how the season is progressing for the team and his thoughts on how things will go from here on out.

Reporter: So AD, has the season been what you've expected so far?
AD: The season has had it's bumps in the road, but i think we are finally hitting our stride.

Reporter: How about the early season move that brought a close friend in MKG and Gerald Henderson to the big easy?
AD: It was a great move i think. Before Mike got injured he was putting up some big numbers. Gerald has been a great addition on any given night he got light up anyone.

Reporter: Speaking of injuries the team has been hit a couple times this season with injuries. Holiday, Camby, MKG and now Tyreke. Can you guys get back on a healthy track to finsih out the season?
AD: Well, you know injuries can always hurt a team but i think fror this team the injuries have kind of helped us. When Jrue went down Austin Rivers stepped up and played great at the point. Not only did the team take notice but also the fans of New Olreans. When he comes in we know we have a guy that can make plays. That's just how we have to be. If one goes down someone has to step up and be the man. Doesn't have to the same guy every night.

Reporter: You guys have been on a small winning streak here lately how does that feel?
AD: Getting the W always feels better than taking the L! We've beat some good teams as of late. We are still a young team so we have to stay humble.

Reporter: The 4 OT game against the Heat how much did that take out of the team and you personally?
AD: That game was one for the ages. For the team everyone was tired but never gave up. I knew i couldn't give up I was in a zone all night able to get 40pts. If i would have gave up when LeBron was also in a zone that game could have been totaly different. Jrue was working his way back off injury and came in with big minutes and points off the bench.

Reporter: What's your look out for the rest of the season?
AD: Hopefully we make the playoffs. It would be great for the team but more importantly for the city of New Orleans. The fans come out every night to support us and we want to give them something to be proud about.

Reporter: Thanks for the time Anthony, good luck in your upcoming game in Dallas.
AD: Anytime. One more thing before I go. This is that Boot Life nothing like being a New Olreans Pelican

In the first of back to back contest against the Mavs coach gave the starters a rest letting the bench guys get the start with the starters coming off the bench. It worked so well that coach will do it on the back end game as well. Pelicans are now winners of 5 straight

I hope so right now the last 10 games we have gone 9-1 now with the entire roster back 100% we may have a shot..I will post the past game results and current standing hopefully tonight
