We are here at the pre-playoff press conference for the New Orleans Pelicans. We will have Coach Williams, AD, MKG, Jrue Holiday, Gerald Henderson and Austin Rivers joining us here today.Reporter: Coach could you have imagined things would have went the way they did this season?
Coach: Not at all. When Mike took over as GM he said he was going to shake things up and put his all into this team. A guy from this great state wanted to put it on the basketball map.
Reporter: Do you feel he has done that?
Coach: Look at where we are. The #2 seed in the West we won our Division. He made moves to improve this team and got me great players.
Reporter: When you got word that MKG and Henderson were coming to become Pels how did that make you feel?
Coach: Shid I was jumping up and down when I saw the news break on ESPN! I picked up the phone and called AD "Did you see who we just picked up?"
Reporter: What is your take on the upcoming playoffs?
Coach: We are ready been battle tested all year. It's time to do this!
Reporter: Thanks coach.

Jrue: What up?
Reporter: You came over last year in another big trade
Jrue: That right's
Reporter: How was it being the floor general with the guys on the team this year?
Jrue: It was easy for me. People talk about a Big 3 or Big 2 in other cities. We have a Team. Guys who have all been stars growing up and that work to make the team better.
Reporter: Can you explain?
Jrue: Sure, why not? On any given night any one of us can take over. One night it could be MKG dropping 28 and AD getting 10 boards and 4 blocks. Other nights it's Gerald going off doing his thing. I can take off and do my thing as well or look to the bench and those guys come in and mad buckets
Reporter: Thanks Jrue
Reporter: Gerald how has your first season been in the Big Easy?
Gerald: It's been great. Took me a little while to find my place but I've loved every minute of it.
Reporter: What's your favorite part of the city?
Gerald: Where ever the good food is which is every where
Reporter: You and MKG come over from the Bobcats together who did you guys blend with the rest of the team once you arrived?
Gerald: That was easy we just came in being ourselves. Everything else feel into place.

Austin: Yes ma'am
Reporter: You surprised a lot of people this season with your game. How does it feel to be a known guy now?
Austin: I've always been a known guy with true Pels fans. It's the others who are just now noticing.
Reporter: Is Coach Williams anything like your Dad?
Austin: Um, no there is only one Doc but they do both demand excellence.
Reporter: You had games where you came in and took over off the bench. How do you think that affected your team?
Austin: It was great for the team. When they can look us come in and help out and do what we do it's all good. Give them a couple highlight type plays and watch them erupt off the bench. Great stuff.

Reporter: AD and MKG, This your second time playing together on the same team who does this feel?
AD: Well, It's a little different this time around cause we are in the NBA. Last time we played together we were in College.
MGK: Playing with my brother is always great. We've been close for yours.
Reporter: Many say you guys are the "Big Names" on this team. How does that make you guys feel?
MGK: Well, we went #1 and #2 in the draft when we came out of College so that pressure is going to be there when people talk. AD and I don't feel any pressure from our teammates though.
AD: No pressure at all. Just come in and play ball. When you look up in the stands and see the fans with different numbers on the front of their jersey's you know other guys are getting their props too.
Reporter: Playoffs are here. How will you guys lead this team?
AD: We will just keep doing what we've been doing. Find the guy with the hot hand or guys with the hot hand. Then support them and turn on the heat when your name is called.
MKG: We Ready this all I have to say.
