Are we able to force our guys to stay or is that impossible?

Here is the schedule for the season... Nationally televised games are the only ones I will actually play, otherwise they'll be simmed. I will put out the team preview tomorrow if I can.

By the way, I'm going to edit the DraftExpress article into the second post of this thread and updates about Kendall will all be added into it.

                              MEN'S BASKETBALL 2017-2018 #18 OREGON SEASON PREVIEW

                              COURTESY: GODUCKS.COM
                              RELEASE DATE: 10/25/2017

                              by Keith Bishop
                              Editor, GoDucks.com

EUGENE, ORE — You could say it was a setback from their 23-12 record back in the 15-16 season but last year's Ducks (19-13) made it to the NIT Regional and fell one step away from surviving their last round at the Daniel-Mayer Coliseum, the goal was to make it to the Carrier Dome for the championship game.

Instead, Oregon fans witnessed their team go down in overtime after they rallied from behind against TCU who would go on to compete for the NIT title against Georgia Tech. It's very safe to say a lot of emotions were left on that floor, these men enter this season loaded with determination, let's check out their statistics, appearance, and best ways to win.

                              Record: 19-13 (11-7 in Pac-10)
                              RPI: 60

The fact that this team is returning 12 players makes their outlook appear deadly, especially when the 2 players they graduated (Carlton McFarlin and Theo Friedman) received an insignificant amount of playing time -- that just makes matters even better.

"This roster has it's fair share of talent," Dan Altman says. "We've got a lot of depth at multiple positions that'll allow us to be better competitors in the Pac. The best part about it is that the vast majority of ours roster was a part of last year's team, we'll be very dangerous."

Impact Player: Ahmad Rorie, senior point guard: Last year's stats -- 14.0 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 3.0 APG, 36% 3PT

Ahmad is entering his senior year and he's going to be depended on to carry the load as the floor general of this Ducks squad. The 6'0 guard from Tacoma, Washington is a speedster who can put the ball in the basket from anywhere on the floor. Only thing that is questionable for Ahmad is his awarness on the floor, as a leader he'll need to reduce his turnover rate which was just under 3 a game.

                              Other Key Players
Jaquan Lyle, senior guard: Last year's stats -- 12.9 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 3.5 APH, 1.4 SPG

As a fellow senior, Jaquan will need to be the secondary leader alongside Ahmad Rorie. On many draft boards Lyle is being considered a late first round selection which signifies that the scouts know/expect that he'll have a breakout season as he finishes his career at Oregon. Over the years Lyle has developed into a tough slashing specimen who has a mid-range jumper he can also depend on.

                              Dontae' Brown, junior forward: Last year's stats - 11.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.1 SPG, 41.8% 3PT

Dontae' appears as without a doubt one of the rising prospects for Oregon. Coming all the way from Brooklyn -- Dontae' was an ESPN five star All-American who used his deadly three point jumper to torture his opponents. After winning freshman all-conference honors Brown debuted in the starting five and showed serious signs of potential that made its way to the eyes of NBA scouts. So with that being said, Brown has appeared in a couple of mock drafts, his stock depends on how he performs this season. He'll need to be big for Oregon.

                              Jerald Potter, junior guard: Last year's stats - 9.8 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.2 SPG, 43.2% 3PT

Jerald came in the 2015 recruiting class as the highly touted Mr. Basketball award winner out of our very own state of Oregon. At 6'3, Potter came in with a lot of competetion at his position but after waiting a season he was given the role as the sixth man behind Jaquan Lyle... Potter played higher than expectations and quickly make a name for himself and even cracked a spot in the starting lineup for a total of 16 games. Potter will be pretty big, he specializes in just about everything on the floor.

                              Jean Snow, sophomore guard: Last year's stats - 8.4 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 1.4 APG, 46.3% FG, 49.4% 3PT

Jean Snow decided to stick around in his home state and attend Oregon University after coming out of Portland as the 63rd ranked prospect in the ESPN Top 100. To sum things up, Jean makes every three pointer he shoots. If he carries over the damage he did as a freshman he'll be on track as one of the best shooters the program has ever seen.

Jordan Bell, senior forward: Last year's stats - 8.8 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, 2.1 BPG

The power forward and center portion of this roster is indeed weak but Jordan Bell played exceptionally well as a junior, being undersized at 6'7, it isn't easy for Bell to go out and perform up to par against the much taller bigmen the Pac-10 has to offer. Still, Bell manages to put up big stats and has his best play on the defensive end.

Kendall Jenkins, redshirt sophomore forward: 15-16 stats - (Northern Colorado) 18.9 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 1.5 APG, 1.8 SPG, 48.5% FG

Kendall Jenkins seemed like a man amongst children throughout his time in the Big Sky. He took Northern Colorado to the first round of the NCAA tournament [lost first round against #2 Oklahoma] for the first time since 2011. The 6'8 forward from Nevada won multiple awards in the conference, most notably the player of the year as well as a global selection for freshman All-American. Playing against lower competition -- I cannot accurately predict his fate with Oregon but I'll look for him to play a big role.

Tyrone Damon, freshman guard: Last season stats - D.N.P

Tyrone comes out of Los Angeles as a five star recruit, sadly the guard is under investigation and is expected to miss a couple of early games [note: this is because he was a late entry and I played games already]. Once he's cleared to play he'll provide his elite scoring abilities for the Ducks. As a high school senior, Tyrone averaged 24.3 points and 8.5 rebounds to earn himself a spot on the McDonald's All-American roster.

Final Projection: The team is entering the season ranked #18 in the nation, analyst have high hopes for them but it's all about if they can live up to their hype. The team has a lack of any true power forward or center which can really hurt the team, especially against a team like Arizona. When March rolls around I expect this team to be standing in at least the top three of the standings with #3 Arizona and #17 UCLA. They'll hopefully content for the conference championship and earn an automatic big, if that fails they can always rely on their 8 RPI.

                              Projected Starting Five:
                              Ahmad Rorie, Senior, Guard
                              Jaquan Lyle, Senior, Guard
                              Dontae' Brown, Junior, Forward
                              Garry Dahi, Sophomore, Forward
                              Jordan Bell, Senior, Forward

                              By the Numbers:
                              Scoring Offense: 80.6 PPG
                              Scoring Defense: 73.3 PPG
                              Field-Goal Percentage: 42.0%
                              Field-Goal Defense: 41.1%
Three-Point Field Goals Per Game: 8.75
                              Three-Point Field-Goal Percentage: 39.3%
                              Free-Throw Percentage: 73.0%
                              Rebound Margin: 0.0
                              Assists Per Game: 15.8
                              Turnovers Per Game: 14.9

                              Recruits
#12 in ESPN Top 100 -- Tyrone Damon, 6'6 Shooting Guard from Los Angeles.
