    Warriors Embarrass Bucks

The Bucks were no match for the high powered Warrior's offense

San Francisco, CA -- Not much to say about this one folks. The Milwaukee Bucks were outplayed in every aspect of the game.

Klay Thompson dominated the game, scoring 39 points on 14-29 shooting. David Lee dominated the pain scoring 30 and grabbing 10 boards.

Milwaukee kept it close for the first quarter, but an ice cold second (12-32 scoring) put it out of reach.

One bright spot was Larry Sanders. He didn't play amazing, but scored 14 and grabbed 8 boards in his return.

"We just didn't have it tonight. Every shot we missed, they hit. And every shot we made, they made one too" said coach Jason Kidd.

Milwaukee hopes to redeem themselves against the Wizards (23-38) at home this Saturday, March 7th.

Tough loss, but you're only a half game back for 8th.

        Bucks Bounce Back Against Wizards

MCW dishes out 12 assists in tonight's win.

Milwaukee, WI -- Every game played is a step closer to either sitting at home come playoff time, or stepping on the court. Milwaukee knows this, and in the position they are in, they hold their own fate in their hands.

Tonight, they played like a team prepared to be on the court come playoff time.

O.J. Mayo seems to have gotten into a groove as of late. He is averaging 19.8 PPG while shooting 50% from the field since the all star break. He has posted double digits in ever game, and scored 30 or more twice in the 9 games.

Tonight, he would put up 30 points. He and MCW seem to gel well at the one and two. Carter-Williams also played a good game dishing out 12 assists and scoring 12 points.

The game started out well for Milwaukee, as they pushed out to a 10 point lead in the second quarter. Khris Middleton scored a season high 24 points. He has played very well since filling in for Jabari Parker.

In the second half, Bradley Beal turned his game into overdrive, scoring 21 points in the third and fourth quarters. He would finish with 35.

Late in the fourth, Milwaukee held a 10 point lead despite a great effort from Washington. Two errors, and two quick threes from Beal and Pierce, brought the game to within 4.

The Bucks stayed composed, and Antetokounmpo would take it hard to the basket, drawing the foul and hitting the tough layup. The lead would go no lower than 6, and Milwaukee finished the game with a win, 116-110.

With 20 games remaining, Milwaukee is tied for 8th with the Knicks and the Celtics. The Bucks play both teams in the final week of the season, so it will be very interesting to see how things play out.

It was bad. I almost summed to the end, but decided to finish it out. Just couldn't find the bucket and couldn't stop them from finding it.

Hoping for a strong finish and maybe snagging that 8th seed.

              Pelicans No Match For Bucks

The Greek Freak shows off his leaping ability

Milwaukee, WI -- The Bucks pick up their second win in as many games, beating the New Orleans Pelicans handily.

An amazing first quarter proved too much for the Pelicans, as they were outscored 40-22. Again, in the second quarter, Milwaukee outscored the Pelicans, 26-18.

In the first half, Milwaukee was firing on all cylinders. They had 14 steals in the game, 10 of which were in the first half. They picked up 18 points on fast breaks, and put on a show for the home crowd.

Milwaukee got great play out of their big men. Larry Sanders posted 11 points and 14 boards, along with 5 steals (career high). John Henson posted 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks in the game. It was great to see the two fill in right where the other left off when they changed shifts.

Hometon fans are hoping this becomes a trend for Milwaukee. They remain one game behind the Knicks for 8th place in the hunt for the playoffs. They'll need to continue this hot streak if they want to have a chance.

                      Q&A With The Greek Freak

Milwaukee, WI -- Few players have made bigger (or longer) strides over the past year than Milwaukee Bucks second-year player Giannis Antetokounmpo. Since making the leap from the Greek second division to the NBA as an 18-year-old, the Greek Freak has emerged as a key piece to the Bucks' rebuilding efforts, his family has moved to America, and he hasn't stopped growing at the tender age of 20. We sat down with the him before last Saturday's game with the Grizzlies and talked about his journey to the NBA, his favorite foods and what he's hoping to pass down to his younger brothers.

Since draft day, in your eyes, what has been something you've grown at the most since then? It's been a long journey, and it was a fun journey. I grew in the game more, especially this year compared to last year. With the coaching staff this year, they came in and knew that I have a love for the game. Every day we practice more and every day he's talking to me [head coach Jason Kidd] and trying to teach me the game. So, for sure the game. On the defensive end, I know where to be, knowing the right spots, knowing how to move my teammates, playing defense for all of the guys. I'm just trying to keep learning as much as possible.

People know who you are now and are attacking you more, how do you prepare for that daily? Are you accustomed to it now? I'm just used to it. I try to go out there and play as hard as possible. For sure, whenever we play a team with a big name, like Carmelo, LeBron, Kevin [Durant], I just go out there and play hard so after the game they can notice me and say, ‘that's Giannis'.

You make highlight plays nearly every night that crash the Internet. With that said, have you ever thought about entering the dunk contest? I don't know, I've never thought about that. If they invite me, I will take the challenge for sure.

Who was your favorite dunker growing up? Vince Carter for sure! Couldn't wait to see his highlights as a kid.

A year ago, no one knew the game Greek Freak. With so many people wanting to talk and hear from you now, do you still approach everything the same as always? It's just the same. I just always try to open up to everybody. It's nice that people notice you, but sometimes it can be hard. But you've got to always be polite, got to show your manners, I just try to open up.

When you're at home, do you play as yourself in 2K? Yeah, I stopped playing as myself. I just try to play with other players now. Like now, I play with Stephen Curry, I love him in 2K14 and 2K15. He makes all the shots.

Are the Warriors your team in 2K15 then? Ah, the Bucks are my team but, sometimes I play with the Warriors too.

Everybody knows your reaction to when you tried your first smoothie, any new food places you've tried? I tried Five Guys. It's delicious, but it's not healthy for you.

What's your favorite meal now? Usually pregame meals like pasta with some chicken, and salad, but the truth is ... Chipotle (laughs).

So last and most serious question. You think you'll be in the playoffs at the end of the year? Well, right now we've won five straight, but so has the Knicks. We're right there with each other and it all depends on who slips up. Me and the guys are going to play as hard as we can and hopefully we can make it happen.

If you can keep streaking and jump two spots in the East you could get yourself a winnable first round match-up!

The acquisitions and trades are all falling into place nicely, well done!

Thanks man. Didn't really want to trade Knight, but it made the most sense. Just had to find offense elsewhere which we seem to be doing well at. Middleton is finding his shot and Mayo is on fire as of late.

Bucks Down Pelicans Again; Continue Win Streak

Khris Middleton scores a career high 25 tonight

New Orleans, LA -- The Milwaukee Bucks (33-34) have swept the New Orleans Pelicans (38-29) in their two games series this season. It also ties the Bucks longest win streak of the season at six games.

This one was a bit tougher for the Bucks than their last matchup. New Orleans came out strong, pushing to a 10-2 lead. Milwaukee is no stranger to being behind and rallying back, and they demonstrated that tonight. They would mount a 8-0 run to tie the game up at 10.

Through the first and third quarters, we saw a total of 19 lead changes, and 7 ties. Those numbers indicate it was a close hard fought battle.

Khris Middleton, who was non-existent in the first half of the season, has come alive as of late. He has scored in double figures in seven of the last eight games, and tonight put up 25 points. "When we got hit with all those injuries, it gave me an opportunity to step up, and I believe my numbers tell you that I did" said Middleton after the game. He also had 5 assists and grabbed 11 rebounds, a season high.

O.J. Mayo played well, dishing out 10 assists as well as scoring 24 points. He didn't shoot well (9-24) but made up for it on the defensive end snagging 4 steals.

Heading into the fourth, the Bucks lead 86-80. New Orleans wouldn't go away quietly, starting the quarter with a 7-0 run and taking the lead. Again, we saw a many lead changes, but eventually, Milwaukee got hot and stretched the lead to 10 points.

Anthony Davis was taken out of the game completely by the Greek Freak. He scored a mere 10 points and had 8 rebounds.

Hot shooting late, and strong defense helped Milwaukee secure the win, 112-104.

The Bucks take on the San Antonio Spurs (51-15) who have the best record in the NBA and have topped the Power Rankings 15 weeks in a row. It will be a challenge, but this Bucks team hasn't backed down from one yet.
