The Good: Julius Randle. The 7th overall pick in last June's draft stole the show as the Lakers squeaked past the Nuggets tonight. Julius Randle scored a team and career high 28 points with 12 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in the Lakers 91-88 victory. Randle shot 10-of-16 from the floor and 8-of-12 from the charity stripe in 30 minutes of action for the Lakers.

The Bad: Kenneth Faried. Kenneth Faried was thoroughly outplayed by his rookie counterpart all night long. faried struggled shooting the ball has we went just 4-of-12 from the field for 12 points ans 12 rebounds in 34 minutes. Faried was a -13 fro the Nuggets has he let Randle have a career night against him.

X-Factor: Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba took a beat seat and let the rookie carry the scoring load. Bryant finished with a nice all around game with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assist in 36 minutes. Bryant had a off night shooting the rock going 8-of-21, but he did other things to help the Lakers get the win.

Rookie Watch: Gary Harris and Jordan Clarkson. Harris played 16 minutes off the bench for the Nuggets and finished with 8 points and 2 rebounds on 4-of-5 shooting in the loss. Clarkson played 27 minutes and finished with 3 points and 8 assist on 1-of-3 shooting.
