Bogdanovic and Nets hang on to defeat the Lakers 104-101
        By ESPN.com
        Posted Feb. 20, 2015

The Good: Bojan Bogdanovic. The 6'8 rookie shooting guard out of Croatia led the way for the Nets has they held off the Los Angeles Lakers. Bogdanovic finished the evening with a team and game high 24 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 4 assist, and 2 steals. The rookie shot the ball well going 7-of-15 from the field while also going 3-of-8 from behind the arc and 7-of-8 from the free throw line in 32 minutes of action.

The Bad: Julius Randle. The 7th overall pick in lat June's draft had a rough night shooting the ball against the Nets. After going scoreless in the 1st half, Randle finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocked shots while only shooting 4-of-10 from the floor in 26 minutes. The former Kentucky Wildcat had troubles scoring over the taller Mason Plumlee.

X-Factor: Jarrett Jack. Jarrett Jack was a spark off the bench for the Nets has he dropped a game high 11 assist in the win. Although he had a subpar shooting night (3-of-10), Jack controlled the offense while Deron Williams was on the bench and even managed the game while Williams was in the lineup with him.

Rookie Watch: Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson only played 18 minutes but he did finish with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assist on 5-of-6 shooting from the field. You have to wonder why Byron Scott decided to stick with Jeremy Lin instead of Clarkson who was playing really well.

Durant's 43 leads Thunder past Lakers
            By ESPN.com
            Posted Mar. 1, 2015

The Good: Kevin Durant. The Lakers didn't have an answer for Kevin Durant has he exploded for 43 points in the Thunders 109-104 victory. The reigning league MVP went 16-of-23 from the field including 11-of-13 from the charity stripe in 41 minutes. Durant also pitched in with 9 rebounds and 2 steals in the Thunder win. Durant was able to drop 40 points without a single make from behind the arc.

The Bad: Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba had an off shooting night against the Thunder. Bryant scored 21 points but he only shot 8-of-20 from the field in the loss including having zero free throw attempts. The Thunder threw double teams at Bryant all game and the 19th year vet played right into their trap by trying to save the Lakers with hero ball. Bryant also had a team high 4 turnovers in the loss.

X-Factor: Dion Waiters. The former Cleveland Cavaliers chipped in with 21 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assist, and 2 steals in 30 minutes for the Thunder. Waiters shot the ball extremely well going 7-of-8 from the field, a perfect 3-of-3 from three point land, and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line. The Thunder could be well on their way to the Finals if Waiters keeps this play up.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson. Randle played 27 minutes and finished with 10 points and 4 rebounds on 5-of-10 shooting in the loss. Clarkson finished with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 10 assist but only shot 1-of-7 from the floor in 29 minutes.

The Good: Jordan Clarkson. The rookie point guard out of Missouri had a career night against the Dallas Maverick. Clarkson finished the night with career high 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field including going a perfect 3-of-3 from behind the arc. Clarkson also pitched in with 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and team best 12 assist in the Lakers comeback victory.

The Bad: Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk Nowitzki put up a game high 27 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assist, but the 7 foot German had a horrible night shooting the rock. In 39 minutes, the former league and Finals MVP only shot 9-of-21 from the field in the loss. Dirk was completely shutout in the 2nd half as he went scoreless as the Mavs gave away a 20+ point lead.

X-Factor: Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba led the Lakers in scoring finishing with 23 poins to go along with 2 rebounds and 2 assist in 30 minutes of action. Bryant finished the game shooting 10-of-19 from the field as he helped snapped the Lakers 4 game losing streak.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle. Julius Randle put up a monster double-double against Dirk and the Mavs. In 29 minutes. Randle scored 19 points with a game high 13 rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting has he pretty much outplayed the Mavericks frontcourt all night long.

The Good: Steph Curry. Steph Curry led the way for the Warriors as he scored a game high 31 points to go along with a game high 14 assist as the Warriors defeated the Lakers last night. Curry finished the game going 11-of-25 from the field including knocking down eight three pointers in the Warriors victory. With Klay Thompson out for the rest of the season, Curry will have to up his game to the next level for the Warriors to compete for a chance at the Finals.

The Bad: Ed Davis. The Lakers starting center laid an egg against the Warriors. In 21 minutes of action. the former North Carolina Tar Heel went just 1-of-8 from the field to finish with 2 points and 4 rebounds. Davis couldn't take advantage of an injured Warriors frontline who lost Andrew Bogut early in the 1st quarter with a pulled calf muscle.

X-Factor: Marreese Speights. The 7th year big man out of Florida came up big for the Warriors in place of the injured Andrew Bogut. In 32 minutes, Speights finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and a blocked shot while shooting 50% from the field (5-of-10).

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson.
