The Final Finals Game 1 - He's baaaaaack

It was a close back and forth game right from the start with too many lead changes to count. With 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter the 76ers had a 5 point lead. The good news was that 76ers had the entire starting lineup well rested for the stretch. The other bit of good news the Warriors big situation was worse then expected Looney had already fouled out and Bryce Johnson was playing with 5. Josh Jackson only went 2 of 7 from 3 tonight he picked a huge spot to hit one as a great look for Embiid gave them a 7 point lead with just under 4 minutes on the clock. Just as you would expect the 76ers tried to foul Bryce Johnson out and they succeded with 3 minutes on the clock. Embiid hit a layup to go up 6 points with less then 2 minutes on the clock. Josh Jackson ices the game with a old school 3 point play in the final minute.

Everyone can take a deep breath as Embiid took advantage of his dream matchup and with a wonderful bounce back game 22 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assist on 8 of15 shooting. Embiid wasn't the player of the game as that once again belongs to Bol Bol with a 24 point and 24 rebound night. Ben did a wonderful job guarding Chris Paul holding him to 3 of 14 from the field. Ben just missed a triple double falling 1 assist short. It will be Interesting to see if the Warriors stick with the same rotation for one more game of play Tavares more.

The Final Finals Game 2 - Is This Really Happening ?

It was another close game and a Bol 3 pointer with 3 minutes to go gave the 76ers a 1 point lead. Just 31 seconds later Bol hits another 3 and the lead was now at 2 points. A little later Curry missed a 3 and Embiid gets the rebound so the 76ers are up 2 points with 52 seconds to go. Ben would get fouled on the other end hit 1 of 2 so the 76ers are now up 3. Durant would miss a 3 and Embiid again grabs the rebound with less then 30 seconds to go and the 76ers up 3. A basket here would clinch the game and of course Ben has the ball in his hands. He calls a P&R and gets the switch leaving Chris Paul on Bol. He makes a great pass and Bol dunks it home to win the game and the 76ers go up 2 to 0 in the series.

The 76ers shoot the ball great from 3 going 13 of 27 which was 10% higher then the Warriors. The refs called a lot of fouls in this one and as always a huge disadvantage for the 76ers in FT %. Embiid was great again with 32 points and 11 rebounds while Ben gets another triple double. Bol was huge down the stretch and is making a early case for finals MVP.

The Final Finals Game 3 - Warriors Take A Close One

The Warriors survive with a 2 point victory in what was a must win game 3 for them. They was able to win the rebound battle for the first time all series. Durant couldn't be stopped with 34 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assist, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Ben once again fell one rebound shy of a triple double. This sets up the biggest game of the year and the 76ers likely win the NBA finals if they win game 4.

The Final Finals Game 4 - Warriors Start Hot

This was suppose to be a exciting game that defined the season and a classic as it was a huge game especially for the Warriors. It ended up being boring as the Warriors came out white hot with 39 1st quarter points. Durant and Curry both were in vintage form and cruise to a 25 point win. Chris Paul had a terrible shooting night and one of the wildest stat lines I've seen. Embiid did his part so his rough series appears to be way behind him now. This now sets up another huge game with it tied at 2 games each.

The Final Finals Game 5 - Trust The Process

It was all tied at 2 so why this isn't a must win game whoever won this one has a huge advantage the good news was that it was back in Philly. Embiid came out and just dominated and after just 1 quarter had 11 points and 8 rebounds. The size mismatch was really playing a huge role. Durant picked up his 4th foul with 7 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. Much like game 4 we don't have much to talk about as the 76ers had a game for the ages with 140 points. They now take a commanding 3 to 2 lead and the process is only 1 win away from finally paying off.

Embiid got off to the hot start in the end him and Bol finish with near identical stat lines. Josh Jackson continues to quietly have a huge playoffs and leads the team with 28 points. Ben had a record breaking night with 20 assist. Chris Paul once again doesn't score enough and Durant was held to under 20 points.

Embiid's 1 quarter sets the tone

The Final Finals Game 6 - The End ?

The 76ers went into the half with a 4 point lead. Bol hit back to back 3's with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd to give the 76ers a 7 point lead. When the 4th quarter started the 76ers had a 5 point lead also the starters were rested with 4 timeouts.

Simmons passes up the wide open dunk to give it to Embiid and with a little over 8 minutes the 76ers up 9 points. The Warriors of course would not go away easy and a Curry 3 cut the lead to 2 points with 7 minutes to go in the 4th. Josh Jackson throws a alley oop to Bol and the lead back up to 9 with 5:24. The next time down the court Bol hits a layup so the lead is now at 11. Bol was having a game for the ages with 29 points and over 15 rebounds. Bol would close things out with a 3 point play with under 3 minutes to go.

The game was over and trusting the process had finally paid off with a championship. The big 3 for the 76ers all played fantastic and all the hard work, losing seasons and playing losses finally seemed worth it. The Philly fans back home was going crazy and the players celebrating like kids.

I played the defense straight up so Ben guarded CP3 and shut him down. Yea winning this title feels great because a lot of work went into it and I had to earn him because my skill level isn't anything great.

Well deserved with 2 seasons of hard work! Any second thoughts about finishing up this chise now?! You've established an excellent team, tough to leave it even with the salary situation!!

Yea the AI uniforms are my favorite of the choices they have. I love the team I built it was prob the most fun team I've ever built in 2K with all the length and 3 point shooting.

This offseason is going to be so tough I have 3 non lottery (I think) 1st round picks plus being up against the hard cap and two of my star players needing new deals. So It would take me a lot of time to figure out what to do with my team even if I just let the CPU handle the other teams. I thought about just playing the next season offline and just sim everything and seeing what happens and just make one more post. I decided to just continue to end it on a high note and go out on top as i'm starting to get a little burnt out on the game as I have played it so much.

I am someone who always trades in the game toward the next version so I've already pre ordered 2k19 and the prelude for that comes out in 1 month. I also want to try out the story side of my gm before I trade the game in as I haven't got around to doing that. I think taking the month or two off will really help me for 2k19 and I should come out of the gates swinging. I also am really enjoying playing some non sports games like horizon zero dawn and If don't finish those now come the fall with 2k19, rdr, tv shows, real life football, real life events my fall will be really jumbled up. It doesn't seem like it but my first post for this was on November 3rd so after posting just about everyday for 9 months I think i'm going to stick with my plan of taking a break till 2k19 comes...….

So unless I get bored in the next week or so the championship game post will be the last real one.... Thanks for everyone that followed along like trek, Jeremey and seaboh and I fell lucky I got close to 25,000 views for this
