BRONCOS UPSET #1 SPARTANS!!!!
The magical season continues for Coach Scott and the Broncos as Boise State pulls off the upset of the tournament beating #1 Michigan State (80-73).
BSU took a (41-35) lead into the half as the Broncos came out on fire hitting 7/9 from beyond the arc including a 3/3 performance from 6'7 walkon Junior Jeremy Plummer. .
The Broncos would continue to get scoring help from their bench in crunch time as SO Joseph Toole scores 10 pts hitting 2/2 from beyond the arc as BSU finishes the game 10/16 from downtown.
Freshman Dominic Nagata struggled to find open shots and picked up 3 early fouls but did manage to dish out 10 assists in the win, well Soph R. Len Bullicer was named POG as he finishes with a team high 15 points and grabs 12 rebounds for the double double.
Michigan State Senior Jamar Cornette came into the game averaging 18.6 PPG scored 28 points in the loss.
BOISE STATE WILL NOW FACE (26-9) #4 CAL IN THE SWEET SIXTEEN. THE BEARS BEAT #5 SETON HALL (91-90).
