Tovarich: De ja vu huh? Big lead in the first half. Second half is below average and kinda frustrating as usual. I probably would never have subbed in the starters in the second half, but 10/27 in the paint was extremely frustrating. I know it's mostly backups, but the big men were cursed at shooting from 1 foot away today. It was hilarious how many different ways you can watch them miss from point blank range.
Reporter: Is that the fewest 3's taken in your career coach?
Tovarich: Very possibly. They pressed like every possession of the entire game except for maybe 4 or 5. The PF's all had nice numbers because of that. Usually you got one of their big guys against two of ours if we do it right, but I was afraid to let the centers touch the ball so the PF's took care of business for us today luckily. I think we took 5 in the second half. I might have left it at 0 but scoring in the paint was almost verboten.
Reporter: Is the team just kind of zoning out during the second half because you haven't had a close game for almost a month?
Tovarich: Probably has something to do with it. And the starters aren't logging many minutes. Trying to get the B team minutes and stats and the walkons and develop the future starters comes with its ups and downs.
